Can is s***e isn't he? It's like his control is so poor he needs to take a touch, turn his body to face where he wants to run and then start running. If he wants to change direction he repeats the whole process.

It's a good measure of 'intent to win' though. Are they committing a greater percentage of revenue to player recruitment or is the large sum of money a drop in the ocean due to increased revenue.

Missing the f***ing point k****ead I said he needs to learn how to use substitutions. Looking at the season as a whole, do you think his substitutions have been timely and effective?

It was clear before it was 2-1 that Mane was not at the races and needed changing. It's not just tonight either. His substitutions are always too late and ineffective.

It's not criticism based on today's game (he was fine today). I was commenting generally rather than just as a 1 off review.

I love the man and under these owners he is the best we could get by a long way but we're not going to achieve anything with FSG and Klopp. He has too much loyalty to s*** players. Mignolet, Klavan, Moreno, Lovren as a minimum shouldn't be anywhere near the team. Henderson as Captain is a joke and Klopp's ability to set up a team to defend/inability to change a game is nowhere near good enough. The post in one of the other threads about accepting mediocrity feels about right unfortunately.

Yet again - game influenced by a useless c*** that should have been binned a long time ago.

No you daft t***. Are you really that binary that it is sack him or the I pledge allegiance to the Jurgen Klopp is the 2nd coming club? As I put, we won't get better than him but his inability to sort this defence (even slightly improve it) is worthy of criticism. I'd love to give him a club that could competently close a transfer for his 1st choice but there needs to be an alternative ready to go. And as much as I like Klopp as our manager, he hasn't achieved anything so far. We have the same crap keeper, crap defence, piss weak midfield and absence of authority and leadership that we have done for years now. Playing incredible football every so often is irrelevant if we do not challenge for and win trophies.

October and realistically this season is already a bit meh

Klopp will not last the season at this rate. Not sorting this defence is criminal but we won't get anyone better. We are destined for mediocrity under these owners.

Just too familiar unfortunately. In isolation it was ok. No better and no worse. It's the fact that when you look at last season and this, we just can't win the games where the opposition isn't attacking us and creating huge gaps.

The deflection of the shin was unfortunate yes, but one pass and he was in. It wasn't even an intelligent run. He was just there and ran straight. Amateur defending.

At some point the questions are his to answer though. It's his job to sort them and we haven't even improved.

They make individual errors because they are not good enough - 2 years to sign better players and they are disorganised and lack a leader - coach them and sign a leader. Because he is a great guy and our attacking play has been superb at times there is a lot of rose tinted viewing with Klopp. Defensively we are s***e and have been for years now.

This defence and his inability/reluctance to sort it will get him the sack. For all the valid comments about FSG stumping up the cash, the defence is as bad as it was when he arrived. Teams with poor squads avoid relegation by being solid defensively so it's as much his issue as the personnel.
