He played well today, but Klopp would never play such a defensive game as England did today. Its the kind of setup that made us buy Lovren, different having to defend from the halfway line. That said, rather him then Lovren or Klavan.

Hard to say, lots of talt have come to Liverpool and stalled, and everywhere else for that matter. Kids get put on a pedestal easily and expected to shine because of it through the media. We already have a norwegian kid thats supposed to be better then what Ødegård was at the same age on our books. Anyways, from what i've read hes, Ødegård,has been training with the Madrid first team and playing for the second team, doesn't put you in the best situation to shine on the field during games.

I haven't been watching all the games this preseason, but whenever I've seen Markovic play I see a really good player in him. Alright he seems to be playing a bit inside of himself, not risking too much or taking on the opponents, but hes got excellent passing and technique. Short passes and chipps... Hope we hold on to him and that he regains his confidence, as Klopp mentioned in an interview, and he'll have a breakthrough this season.

To those of you thats already bought a new shirt, how do they feel? Like the shoulder thing looks like it gets stuck in your armpits every time you lift your arms... I assume it is the same with away shirt as well?

Klopp would get him back to his old self within a month. His s***ty EC, largely playing out of position, has hopefully put other suitors off.
