It's clear that a few of our "flops" during the last few years have been victims of Brendan vs. transfer committee and not really gotten a fair try to show their worth. Apart from the obvious one (Balo) im sure Klopp will give them the chance to prove their worth, if they want to, during the pre-season. While Alberto is having a good time at Deportivo it's sad that Markovic time in Turkey was hampered by injuries, he's back at Melwood now so hopefully theres a few opportunities for him to show his talent before the summer.

The only ones I wanted gone a month ago was Mignolet, Lovren and Balotelli. Atm I wouldn't mind having Mignolet as a reserve and see how Lovren performs until the summer, hes on an upwards curve obviously. But I am not forgiving the diabolical performances he showed for the previous 16 months for improving the last 2 months. Balo is a lost cause...

I have no doubts that they would be better off with Rafa in charge short and long term, what comes next for Real is going to be interesting. They'll have to get ridd of their best player ever in Ronaldo and most likely have to fire one of their greatest legends in order to put up a proper fight with Barca and Atl. Madrid again.
