Bad as they are we are stuck with them until the end of the season then let our new manager assess them Rafa gambled and we lost, selling Keane for £12M without a ready replacement was a bad idea. He admitted it was a risk which has born fruit within a couple of days. Keane has not been a success but better than Babel and he would easily command a £12M fee in the summer. If Torres gets injured and may God forbid, I wouldn't be surprised if Gerrard played centre forward. I recall an interview were Rafa stated he believed Gerrard would make a good centre forward. Just as an aside friends and family went to see the Mallorca v Real Madrid match recently and speaking to Real fans they were convinced Rafa going to Real this summer - Deal was supposedly agreed verbally with Calderon ( forgive spelling) which now may have been withdrawn, with the changes at the top at Madrid.
