anfield

why are we excited about this? We know how they drooled over ManU and then now exagerate their demise. We're just their new favorite, until they decide they don't like us anymore

Football in england requires a huge investment with little hope of return. Books may have nothing to do with it.

Ignore the idiots on here, you're damned if you do give info (ask leo) and damned if you don't.

I ve got nothing against him. His goals saved the club on many occasions when the football was dire to say the least. However, he could easily have signed a new contract and then left netting the club 25 million or so. He could have told madrid that he wanted to go to Liverpool and nowhere else. He has only himself to blame for this fiasco. He didn't just make one wrong decision but a whole series of poor judgements. And as for him not signing a new contract? Ask his agent who happened to be permanently on holiday. Boooing him was totally out of order though. I don't think he can come back and the truth is we don't need him anymore. I really feel bad for the situation he has gotten himself into, a class striker at a crap club.

I want 1-4

W. Brom leading spurs 2-0

No way will Rafa start Cisse.

Did anyone else see the second goal he conceded against Fulham? Ball is looping in nice and slow, slips right between his palms and between his legs and into goal.............

If betis get relegated are those guys gonna want to go there?

No one can say that for sure. We would have had money available for Benitez to spend. But heck yeah I'm glad he stayed.

who are you supporting now then?

hehe Crouch got tangled up in his own legs and seemed like he was trying to sort that out first

I can't believe we almost bought Bowyer

did he actually say that

Since no one else has seen fit to start a thread, I will Reina 7: Not much to do, came out when needed Risse 6: Not much defending to do, didnt come forward as much Hyppia 7: Rock solid as usual Carra 7: See above. Finnan 7: came forward occasionally and overlapped well Kewell 8: getting better with each game, nice cross for crouch's goal Alonso 8: exquisite passing, stuck in Gerrard 8: great goal as well Garcia 6: wasteful Morientes 9: fabulous, my MOM Crouch 7: Nice touch for the goal. might have gotten sent off.. Subs Pongo 7 Cisse 5 Josemi ? It must be said that Newcastle were utter crap and our forwards had oodles of sace and the midfield cut through theirs like a knife through butter

I thought that was Mori's best game for us so far. Shame he didn't score. brillaint skill on the ball, nice little flicks and passes and ability to hold on to the ball and keep possession even under pressure. He seemed to be running circles around boumsong and Bramble. Garcia kept getting into nice positions but really should be made to do some extra shooting practice.

or boumsong blocking Shearers shot on goal and the comm saying that it was the best defending he'd done all day

do we need to call child services? what have you done to the kids?

No need to boo him though, we've gone on to better things, he's gone on to worse......

Danny Murphy sent off. Can we start a Danny sucks and we don't want him back thread now? Seeing as how a bring him back thread starts whenever he scores
