You're missing the point......which is that neither he nor his agent were aware of Liverpool's interest until recently or else they would not have agreed a deal with West Ham "in principle"..........his agent does say that such a deal was agreed.

A lot of the gnashing of teeth on the forums is over the top. To say Rafa is unhappy is probably an exaggeration. To say he is frustrated is probably more accurate. Thats not based on tabloid speculation but his own words. As others have said, getting player contracts signed is a good sign. However, I seriously doubt that Alonso and co demanded that Rafa reveal his transfer strategy and received assurances before they signed.

There's a lot of BS in this thread but there are certain facts: Rafa has publicly complained about the status of Liverpool's transfer activity. An extraordinary step by any manager let alone a Liverpol boss. It means without any doubt that things are not as they should be. Whether Bascombe is right or wrong, its pretty obvious that on this forum, good news is believed far more quickly than bad news. Rigt now, Bascombe has nothing good to say so he is being tarred as a know nothing......
