Andy Gray was not spot on. the man couldnt have been more wrong. he saw a chance to get one in for the liverpool fans and he took it. He has been getting a lot of stick from us lately and he's simply sided with us on this one for the PR. everyone knew mascherano was going to get a red card. if you deny this then fair enough but it was as clear as day to me and I think he deserved both yellows.

I don't think there is any argupment there. Hyypia has been truelly fantastic this season. I'm not just saying this because of his legendary status at the club, its simply an observation. He has very much earned himself another contract. I would really love if he was still playing at the club when we won our first premiership title.

Absolutely agree. At half time Alonso and a few others were in the refs face and I was shouting my ass off saying where the f*** is Gerrard?! He was being walked off the pitch by one of the coaching staff or the 4th official or something when he should have been over telling the lads to back off and get on with it. All this talk about the ref being bribed etc is complete s**** and anyone who believes it is a moron. Everyone knew Masch was going off, he deserved his red card but let's move on. the man has passion and i won't fault him for it, maybe if he can channel it a bit better next time. end of story.

I think Mascherano deserved his red card. I knew he was off the second I saw him going over to the ref and I was shouting at the TV telling him to back off. I won't complain about it as it is impossible for us imagine the atmosphere at a big game like that. I am glad that he cares so much about the team in fact. the main problem I have with the whole thing is that Alonso should bloody well have grabbed him and pulled him away from the ref with a bit more enthusiasm. Also the lads should have shut their mouths and not been in the refs face at the half time whistle.
