when it comes to the club getting another loan turned down, i can see DIC diluting hicks share. bloody hope so anyway.

Rafa would want to stay here because our squad works well with him in the CL i would hope. he isnt the only king of the cup. I don't see another Gerrard in the world.

Well ladies , it's now or never. if u plan to boycott then u gotta do it before DIC buy 49% of the club. i myself think its too late and we now have to put up with this t*** hicks for years. im so happy.
  4. it will take time and word of mouth. next time yer in the pub mention it... dont be over the top just inform people what is going on and let people make the decision to be involed or not themselves. i see iot taking off myself
  5. Exactly.. you have to start somewhere, let's start with a bloody big protest at half time. Whether or not you think a protest will do any good, if you think something neds to be done then join in the protest and hopefully we can come up with a better idea later on, the first step must be to unite the fans in voice, the rest will follow etc. as for the nazi reference, no need to be sorry for it. Hitler may have been one of the most evil men ever but unfortunately he was a genuis. if he didn't have an insane hatred for jews and a hunger for land he'd have gone down as one of the worlds great men as he united post WW1 germany which as ye all know was in bits after the war and very quickly turned it into one of the worlds most powerful countries.
  6. well if so many of you think that the only thing that'll get the americans out is cold hard cash then bloody well do nothing then. jesus, someone puts a good idea to the crowd who so often consider themselves a 12th man but when the chips are down we're not willing to do s*** are we?
  7. id agree with you of course about how the media tend to twist things around , however this time I would see then talking about the bid from DIC and how the fans have clearly shown their preference etc. As long as it stays clean and the fans arent too divided then i won't see the media messing with it too much.
  8. someone want to run a poll on who is for this half time protest and who is against. Id have assumed it would have had majority support myself but there seems to be a bit of resistance for it. even tho i am all for it, id not like to see our fans too divided about it. I think the half time protest is the best idea so far myself. the players will hear it in the dresser but Im sure Rafa can build it into his teamtalk and then when the lads come out for the 2nd half they'll obviously get a bloody massive roar.
  9. I'm all for a mass protest during half time. As long as things stay clean and the fans dont divide amongst them. As someone else said, if you dont agree then sing yer own songs and we'll see who is louder but my own opinion is that we need to let people know that we are all bloody fed up of these american owners. Get the media talking about it and see where it goes.
  10. seems its all about whether people who agree with the protest and people who dont. if you dont agree with it then stay silent during the protest. simple
  11. as soon as the players come back out the fans will be well fired up to get behind the team even more tho. Sounds like a contradiction but I think that it'll have a positive effect of the atmosphere overall. aslong as people dont go losing the head like.

a full on boycott is the only thing that I can see working. if you can get enough fans to agree to this then it might just be a matter of weeks before Hicks gives in. A half empty stadium would make his position unattainable in the long term so it would be him who would be fighting the losing battle.

The damage would be more along the lines of short term for me. who knows what these clowns will pull next year or the year after. Not only does their decision making seem to be poor, they dont seem to have much money. Damage in the short term and a fresh start for next season sounds better to me. and yes, we should always be willing to boycott in order to save our club.

I think you are right about having to boycott games and on a massive scale. DIC have answered our call for help and we now need to help them help us. massive massive boycott! and i think you are wrong to say that liverpool fans dont have it in them. We're more passionate an organised than any other fans. we can bloody well do it. we should start getting organised. Someone wanna setup a boycott thread?
  15. and if he did this then there would be an absolute riot and home games would suddenly be completely empty... yes this is what he wouldnt do.
  16. as long as he owns the club he is in charge... but if he cantg pay the loans off then the bank is in charge.
  17. I think it should get very messy otherwise its going to be a slow and and painful demise of our club. I'm not settling foot in anfield til this t*** is gone.

nah, they have some kind of agreement between them about being able to veto a sale to a new partner. i tihnk it was mentioned at the time of their purchase of our club.

Why should we let this c*** ask for whatever price he wants. I say we take away his power by amss boycotting all premiership games until he is gone. be f***ed if im gonna let a c*** who has totally ruined own season go and f*** our club up somemore just so he can make even more money from our next owners. f***ing boycott.
  20. Maybe im the only one but I would gladly finish 10th to win the CL. i would be happy to do it this season, next season and the season after.
  21. Fand could boycott the game and instead watch the games in the pubs then maybe after hold a positive demonstration outside the ground to show the players and manager that we still support them... or something. but i think something has to be done and fast before this t*** ruins our club. whata f***ing c***.
  22. Exactly! I really hope he is angling for more money rather than seriously considering staying... I think it is high time we gave him a push tho... I know it wont happen but if only 10k fans showed up at our next few home games then his positions would weaken and he would be forced to sell. thinkabout it tho, we'd be doing our next owners a favour.. theyd get the club for a resonable price and maybe would be more willing to invest in the club.
  23. I am very happy with Rafa's performance as liverpool manager. I admit that there are times that I disagree with his decisions but I do understand that he knows better than me. I am well aware that I could never manage a team nevermind a team containing cisse, baros and traore etc to winning the CL. It's downright annoying that the man is under pressure. Ive found myself to be very annoyed with Hicks again tho. I've finally lost patience with him and I think that whatever about the manager, the players, the expectations... this man has to go.. its obvious a prtest wont move him... we're talking a long term mass boycott.
  24. I am the only one who is interested to know this? jesus christ lads.
  25. Sorry if this is a repeat, im only home from work and Im tired. I saw on sky news that he is willing to block Gillette in his attempt to sell his shares. lads im totally fed up with this guy... things were just settling down and he comes out with this. I'm tired and annoyed... im aware that my judgement is a little clouded by this but I think that the previous talk of a boycott is now maybe needed. He thinks he is in charge? if he cant pay the bills then he will soon realise that he has no power at all. I think an almost all out boycott is needed... since i love the CL so much, i dont think its realistic to boycott tyhis but id actually be in favour of boycotting premiership matches.. reguardless of what it might cost us int he long run (not qualifying for the Cl next year maybe).... home that is some bit legible lads... again sorry if i missed where it was brought up before (if it has been) im so f***ed off by this tosser and i want him out by whatever means. what a c***.
