true enough. needing one team to slip up nevermind 3 is tough.. mind they are playing eachother so points will be dropped... probably not enough even if we win all our games but it is at least possible. not realistic, not even far fetched but if utd drop point tonight and we beat em sunday then i will acknowledge that it is a possibility none the less and start to hope more than ever.

If utd drop points against bolton and we beat em on the weekend then i will allow myself to believe in the fairytail that we can still win it. Mainly cause I want to believe it, It's not sense talking here! with a draw and a loss for utd in the next 2 games, we'd be 6 behind em with 7 games to play. if a*** can keep up their s**** streak (especially against us) then we have an actual chance... its all speculation and conjecture tho until we at least get a result against utd as we've got one of the toughest run ins in a long time... just winning every league game would be a miracle, nevermind the other teams slipping up against lesser teams on the way. but hey, whats football all about.

well thats what the players would sell for if they were playing for a small club who didnt wish to sell, we'd get way less when we went to offload players. Carson for 8, more like 4 id say max. alonso would be harder to call, it would depend on who was interested. Riise wouldnt get 6 though, no way. 3 maybe guthrie, maybe 4 ya but pennant would go quite cheap again in my opinion, not exactly setting the world alight. Crouch and Kuyt, tough call as crouch never plays and kuyt has lost all his apeal to any club (in my opinion he might be a good buy tho)... but my opinion would mean little as any club would be shy to pay more than a few million for a striker who never scores.

Absolutely, It's ON etc. As much as I would love to believe that it would in fact be on, I'm not sure I can convince myself. Fair enough but I think Rafa has shown a willingness to learn. I think though that things werent quite as bad as we thought, even so it wasnt all ulnder his control. we might go in and lose the big premiership gam.es and finish 5th but I will still sayk that Rafa needs more time.

The time for resting players is over though, unless the luxury pops its head up by us being 3-0 up after 60 mins. We're 10 points behind with everton next to us, we need to grab every game by the throat from here on in.

I agree, we need the 3 points just as much as we need to prepare our players for tougher games ahead. Start with that 433 formation , using the best players available and then take off gerrard and torres when the game is won.
