I think man utd could well make s*** of Barca. They might not be as good going forward (potentially) but who is.. man utd will tear barca to s*** at the back tho. Having said that, I wouldnt write Roma off yet. Even though I do think that Ro'ma should go out, they'll be really up for it this time around. Also man utd wont help but be able to be at least a little over confident.

ya, even though chelsea are still an excellent side, I would be more worried about playing arsenal. Having said that I think they are maybe starting to tire a bit and their young side might not have the bottle to knock us out of a competition that we are so much more experienced in. Either way I'm ever so slightly confident that we can beat them. Torres and Gerrard are on great form at the moment, they will tear any team apart on their day. protecting a very solid defence is the masch.. We seem to be going from strength to strength. it's a real shame we won't have Agger back for this game.

maybe we should get too far ahead of ourselves however, after looking at the general views of the arsenal fans from their forums, it does seem that they are gennerally worried with a fair few optumists who dont think there is a difference between anfield in the premiership and anfield in europe. Of course, why would they? this will be their first taste. Even .though I don't think they should be at all underestimated, I think they might think they are threw if they come to anfield with a small win.

If we do well from now until the end of the season can we set our alarm clocks to remind us not to go too overboard on our chances of winning the title next season? I would be delighted if we were there or there abouts.. of course it would be nice if we were in or around the leaders for the majority of the season and didnt have to sneak up at the end. Tom Hicks has a lot to answer for. He has cost us at least 6 points this season with his s****... before anyone argues about where i got these points from or what effect off the field problems can actually have, dont bother. Gillett, Im not sure how innocent or guilty he is but at least he kept his mouth shut and clearly wished that Hicks would do the same... thats business tho.

I want the mancs in the final. Think of it as a day at the fairground... its always the big f*** off scary lookin rides that everyone wants to go on. I want utd in the final, not cause I am sure we'd beat em or any such nonsense, but simply cause I want to see what the biggest game in our history would feel like. utd are well known to nip wins against us with us being the better team in general. hiding my a***. typical utd fan, knows feck all.

Over the last 6 premier league games no team has attained more points than us. Out of 18 we got 16. from the last 4 games alone we are really eating up the ground on the others. out of 12 points Liverpool - 12 Chelsea - 8 Man utd - 7 Arsenal - 6 I think that one of the reasons that sky etc have not picked up on this or noticed that liverpool are drawing the other teams in is because evertons form has also been excellent. out of the last 12 points they too got 12 and have 14 out of the last 18. if results go our way tomorrow then you'll start to hear a buzz from sky and the tabloids, not sure what they'll be saying exactly but either way, we might be looking at a decent enough finish to our so called wasted premier league campaign this season.

Look, I know that it is alm/ost impossible for us to win the league.. I AM NOT SAYING IT COULD HAPPEN. but since when did we co'me within touching distance of being labelled a challenger again? Is it just me or is Rafa very close to having the last laugh here? he did talk about a strong finish due to the players being fitter than the other teams when using his rotation policy. Looking at tomorrows fixtures doesn't say much for us getting any closer but if we can keep winning and the top teams drop points here and there.. we could easily be within 5 points of the top place when the season ends.... that would be progress surely? as in, wouldnt Rafa keep his job regardless of how well we do in the CL?

the signing of players like Torres is exactly what we need if we want to keep hold of gerrard. It gives us a chance of competing for the title in the near future. let's hope we can make the semis of the CL. Phenominal player tho, on incredible form this season. Any up and coming superstars will want to play alongside Torres and Gerrard.

I think kuyts form is picking up big time. think its players like him who have pulled us out of the slump. whether he is actually good enough in the long term, who knows.. but its really not saying much about yer own character to mock a player when he gives his all and has contributed loads in the last few games.
