Completely understand that. When I made the trip in 13-14, had it not been for the forum, I'd have to take the massively overpriced Thomas Cook ticket too. I think with the TV money going up the way it has, stadium ticket prices should ideally be coming down but sadly we hardly see that. The reason I brought up the point is that the bellends who share such posts get a few replies in support and my worry was that people who currently do not have a negative sentiment on this can also get swayed towards that side if only such communication is done. Just jumping in here. There has been a rising sentiment against fans who travel to Liverpool to watch games since they're deemed to be tourists and unworthy of being in the stadium as opposed to a local. I've seen people taking pictures of foreign fans inside Anfield who are taking pics of themselves as memories for a lifetime and abuse being meted out of them. Peter Moore was tagged in one such discussion and he came out with the right kind of statement which wouldn't have happened had he not been in there. That isn't his primary job of course but to see him in there doing that was a good thing to see for me. If Lucas wants to move in order to play more which he feels might be elsewhere then we should give him a good send off and let him go.
