  1. Could have sworn I read it was Clive?
  2. The Defence Rests, m'lud I think your paedophile song says all there is to say about the mentality of your s***house club as well. Never heard anything like that at Anfield. Or anywhere else for that matter, save for White Harl Lane.
  3. As an aside, I need some advice on something. I work in a hotel in the UK, and Sir (?) Alex is due to stay with us in a couple of weeks time. I dont like my job that much, and was therefore thinking in terms of a nice s*** on the pillow. However, in order to avoid potential legal issues, can anyone suggest anything as effective, but less DNA-detectable?
  4. Wow, its heating up a bit in here isn't it. I would like to nail my colours against the mast, and state that in my experience, Man United fans tend to be c***s of the very highest order. Most Liverpool fans I have come across tend to be decent enough, if a little paranoid. I think the respective teams largely reflect the above.
  5. I always loved this one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4zUIdyVnlM
  6. If that's true, and its not the first time I heard it, say for arguments sake he is on a 4 year contract, that means that Bent will have cost them 34.72 million pounds! And they say Wenger should buy more Englishmen!
  7. I don't think he ever got the credit he deserved for the Newcastle one - too many s***piece pundits suggesting the touch was lucky, even though he had already turned and spun to where it was going to go. The Leicester one was the best I ever saw him score, all the more so when you consider it was a last minute equaliser, and the third goal of the best hat trick I ever saw. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slIij0mgCfA...feature=related For the first six months of our 1998 double season, Bergkamp was playing football on a different level from anything I have ever seen. But thats a bit off topic I guess?
  8. This seems to be happening more and more - our entire walking wounded seem to be in their home countries - Eduardo in Brazil, Rosicky in Czech Republic, Sagna in France.....I'm surprised that the clubs dont want to oversee every step of their rehab.
  9. I dont know that our wage bill is as astronomical as it used to be - shipping out Henry and Ljungberg apparently shaved off in the region of 10m per year. Now, if you believe what you read, only Gallas and Fabregas are above the 60k mark, which must be more in line with the likes of Spurs than the likes of Chelsea, Mancs, and I guess, yourselves too. It just amazes me that Spurs seem to have a bottomless pit of money, yet have nototiously tight ownership.
  10. Good player, but massive money. Where the hell do they get their money from?
  11. i think that the most demeaning song that can be sung is a very simple 'you're not very good'. Simple but effective!
  12. As a neutral observer, its a bit odd I think that when you're handing out blame, very few people have asked questions of the keeper. For me, that ball should have been his all day long, without giving Riise a chance to do what he did. Anelka was hardly busting a gut to get to it, as he probably thought he had no chance of getting it. Riise should have herld his ground, and Reina should have taken it.
  13. Gutted for you, I really am, thats a sick way to end a game like that. On tonight's evidence though, theres no reason in the world why you cant go there and get the result.
  14. He is such a f***ing hideous c***. A scumbag of the very highest order! Drogba that is, not Riise!
  15. Weather the storm, get Gerrard into it more and you will be fine. You've done a s***load more in the first 30 mintes here than in the Arsenal game, and look how that turned out!
  16. Come on the Scouse.......Football is rooting for you to take care of these c***s and keep them away from Moscow! Keep the tempo high, stay on the attack, keep tight on Drogba and I really think you will be in quite a comfortable position going down there for the 2nd leg. I hope....

  18. What the hell's wrong with that? Always been like that, as long as I can remember - Tony Adams' Arsenal, etc. The Captain leads the team out, nothing more to it than that.
  19. I would have thought you guys would have been like me with Tottenham - I would love them to qualify for the UEFA cup every single year, because their exploits in this competition simply never fail to amuse.
  20. Its funny how Arsenal hate Spurs, but nobody else gives that much of a toss about them, Liverpool hate Everton, but no-one cares about them, Man U hate Man City, but no-one else cares, and yet everyone in the country it seems, hates Leeds!
  21. Unbelievable.
  22. Yeah, Savage's was a rival to Phil Neville's in terms of gaudiness. I remember some Argentinean at West Ham who had a penthouse in London, that had the inside floor space of 2 pitches, with a massive pool and hottub outside. Ridiculous!
  23. the only redeeming feature of that show was it enabled the hilarious Tony Adams and Caprice relationship to happen.
