Hell in a Handcart. There was a story a few weeks ago that Barcelona were 'poised' to make a 10million bif for him. Frankly, any adverse dealings that we may have had with Lady Luck over the past few weeks would be reversed with bells on if that, or anything like that, were to happen.

He keeps making the point about keeping the squad together - if it remains intact then there will be only one arrival. Misguided, in my opinion, but I cant control that. For every departure, I assume there will be a futher arrival. Eboue is a fairly certain departure IMO. I dont think btw that he meant only one arrival period. I take him to mean one 'World Class' signing - in his words, a 'super,super' player. Sagna wasn't a big name acquisition, but a bloody great one. Eduardo the same. I think that there will be some of those, as well as his top player, hopefully a CB. Only thing is, where the hell do you buy a top class centre back?

Looking on the season as a whole, not just the past month or so, I really dont think scoring is the issue. We've scored in every big game this season, we just need to learn to keep the back door shut. There's goals in this team, even more so when you add Rosicky and Eduardo into the mix. If there is to be only one major signing, it simply has to be a Centre back.

No way. A keeper covers one side, the wall covers the other. That was on the wall's side - keeper no chance. I've often wondered what would happen if , from a 25 yard free kick, there was no wall. Surely from that distance, with the keeper in the middle of the goal, and a clear sight of where the ball was going, it would be impossible to score from that range?

Even on Andy Gray's wrap up 30 mins of self indulgence, they dont show the free kick decision?? Ridiculous.
