Whats with the over reaction? We had a shot at fourth, if we went on a run of wins (which we havent for 3 years) and if Arsenal, Spurs and Everton dropped points. If we had a 20 percent chance of finishing fourth yesterday, we have 16 now.

This has been mentioned a couple of times in this thread but I dont think thats a given at all. We were 2-0 up against QPR last season and still managed to drop points. We've given away goals when put under pressure time and again, this season. And we've given away goals after scoring a good number of times as well.

I still think we need someone physical in midfield and at the back (possibly left back).

One major reason I'd keep him is to have some sort of seniority still remaining at the club. Its hard enough to replace experience, even harder when we have Carra leaving and a general lack of leadership at the club. I dont think Pepe's form is as poor as what people are making it seem to be, our entire defence has looked poor this season and every single one of them look replaceable which for me, means that there are issues with how we are set up defensively and not with the likes of Pepe, Johnson, Agger and Skrtel, but thats just me. Of course. Its not something you lose.
