  1. i agree with the above.. i cant blame the guy for the choices he made, he needed to save his career and wants to play in the world cup....he was offered to us twice and we turned him down...Now yes i hate the guy now for being at the mancs, but would i go out of my way to boo him?!?! nah id spend all my energy on the scum who "apprently" own us... There are two owens for me...the one who was so fantastic for us and the one who left for Real Madrid..this one is dead...why would i boo a dead person.. I honesty thought the abuse owen got when he first came bk to anfield with newcastle was shocking........... It seems popular these days to basically abuse any of our ex players....are we gonna end up hating everyone?!??!
  2. carra aint gonna be dropped, not a chance.. i reckon...Rafa will go for .. ----------------reina------------- johnson--carra----agger--insua- -kuyt---masch---lucas---aurellio- -----------------benny------------- ---------------babel--------------- If of course torres and gerrard are not fit.
  3. fantastic that!!!!!!
  4. kelly benny kuyt
  5. i will say if there are any positives whatsoever....Kelly looked pretty good
  6. im angry,upset.....and cannot believe what is happening, a combination of horrible luck and injuries is/has destroyed our season.......
  7. why ?? we were awful....and its a valid question!! Where do we go from here?? how can we fix this?
  8. where do we go from here.. apart from 5 mins in the first half, a horrible performance......far too many players out there that dont deserve to be wearing a red shirt.. i dread to think what will happen if we lose to the mancs...
  9. fabio has been errrrrr fab since hes come on, made a huge difference, we were pretty crap up till then.. insua worries me...seems a bit of the pace
  10. please tell me the games in which he has put in a good strong peformance, im talking last season and this current one.....and no not the dodgy 5 minutes where he comes on and makes a couple of good touches.. Games where he started..........please name me them
  11. with babel it might be because of the flashes of brilliance we have seen from him, that he is a full international and we played a decent amount of money...so yes in a way..he should be singled out because every time i see him in the starting line up...im pretty confident he will be s*** and provide nothing...thats what its come to with him
  12. hold on...i must`ve missed the good games?? I havent seen Babel put in a decent performance in 2 years....
  13. another great opportunity today and yet again...he blew it.....f`king weak hearted man who doesnt deserve to be in our team, let alone squad... please go away......hes had plenty of chances.
  14. he makes mistakes, it happens... torres and gerrard were not fit, with masch not fit to start... so shouldnt we have gone with the regular formation and just drop players in?? at least it would have kept the foundations?? instead we went to 3 at the back with a wingback system, considering rafa himself said he didnt have much time to coach as players were away.....why go with that crazy formation?!??!? it would have been quite easy to put a real striker up top...ie n`gog or voro (not great options but at least they should know their job) with benyoun behind.....kuyt right, reira left (was he injured???) instead our whole shape changed and we looked a complete mess, yes far too many average players out there, but still...add that to a formation we havent played this season and we got what we deserved Awful performance...

  16. id much rather start this game with a proper striker....n`gog has done well on the occassions we have seen him, definetly has an eye for goal......id sit bennyoun in behind him, reckon those two would like well...far better than the erratic Babel.. ------------------reina------------ johnson--carra-----sktel----aurellio -------------------------------------- kuyt----masch---lucas-------reira-- ----------------benny--------------- -----------------n`gog--------------

  18. Insua - has done ok...but has really been shown up in the past 2 games.....up against true quality and his inexperience shows...definetly one for the future, not ready yet and with aurellio fit....id start fab at left back.. carragher...sorry but another poor performance, thought he should have been following anelka into the box for the first goal....he let him go and he scores.. and our passing from the back is awful with insua and carra mostly to blame...
  19. im not confident with throwing agger in alongside carra with the threat of drogba....dont think either can handle him.. id rather the mad greek
  20. wont happen, but id rather carra was dropped than sktel.. think carra has been awful this season and at fault for most of the goals conceeded.
  21. doubt we will see any major changes....putting agger right back in the side would be crazy in my opinion BUT i would put the mad greek in....he can handle drogba
  22. paul walsh at watford lives long in the memory.....live on tv, really bad pitch...,.barry davis comentating if memory serves me correct
  23. i saw the title of the thread and thought "ian rush against villa" right away....my fav hat trick
  24. think we are being slightly harsh on some of our players.. 1. kuyt his socks off as usual...was all over the pitch 2nd half 2.torres - showed some fight got into decent positions, gave the defenders a proper game 3.reina...didnt do anything wrong, took control on crosses
  25. well acording to this from the official prem site.. 1 Emiliano Insua Liverpool 165 cm 2 Aaron Lennon Tottenham 165 cm 3 Shaun Wright-Phillips Manchester City 166 cm 4 Steed Malbranque Sunderland 168 cm 5 Paul Scholes Man Utd 168 cm 6 Miroslav Stoch Chelsea 168 cm 7 Carlos Tevez Man city 168 cm 8 Jermain Defoe Portsmouth 169 cm 9 David Di Michele West Ham Utd 169 cm dunno if thats correct or not?? i knew he was small, but didnt think he was smaller than some of those listed above...
