Maybe. If he’s been doing the same all season. If he’s just started doing it whilst also mentioning the issue with set pieces during various recent press conferences then it looks more like throwing the coach under the bus.

As if you need a separate f***ing coach for set pieces anyway. Who was it who was saying Slot has been recently sitting down when we’ve got / are defending a free kick? All seems a bit like more signs of a not great workplace.

It is a form of gaslighting to suggest Slot and Klopp are similar in this regard.

I think people are taking into account Spurs being down to 9, however long that was for, that sort of became the entire story. Maybe similar for Wolves and their 2 points yesterday. I guess people expect a bit more than sitting deep and crossing our fingers vs one of the worst teams the league has seen. I thought it was completely turgid for most of the 2nd half. We’ve got a patient home crowd for a lot of things but sitting deep and refusing to attack v s***e is never going to go down well.

Wirtz has already done more on the pitch for us than Keita ever did, and not been a total fanny about it from day 1 like Keita. Isak is far more like Keita so far, taking forever to get up to speed and then being crap on the pitch other than the occasional glimpse.

Yeah. I think maybe the problem is that he (Mac) is unusually small and slow for someone who plays where he does. So you either need a more powerful and physical player in the creative part of midfield (which usually can contain a smaller lad) or if you haven’t got that player, as you say, something has to give.

I can’t be arsed with him but there’s no point moaning about him now he’s out for ages. He hasn’t been here for long enough to criticise him as much as players who have been good in the past and bad this season. Mainly it’s just a massive disappointment because I wanted us to sign him and expected him to bang.

Has been the biggest concern all season. Konate has made worse errors but our drop off is more related to Mac’s personal drop off than any of the Konate ricks
