    I suspect part of the reason the club got him was his preference for a smaller squad and not really being arsed with developing young players. I do think he’s hit a real problem with what happens when these ingredients meet the tougher physical requirements of English footy.

    Yeah agency exactly. I feel like in a wider sense he’s been the wrong guy to sort the whole thing recently for kind of the same reason. He seems to be of the view that his players are an elite group of grown ups who need to get themselves to a high level, if they don’t they will be out and sorting them out personally is not his business.
