  5. And Evra biting a false arm was not premeditated and designed to bring the game into further disrepute? FA should discipline him aswell. Odious Manc gayboy.
  6. Every week i struggle to see what is special about Henderson. Johnson always makes stupid mistakes. Downing I think is actually improving each game.
  7. Truly dreadful. WTF is it with Glen Johnson? Forward, defender, what? Only thing you can say about him is that he is on the right. So overated and makes so many mistakes leaving the team exposed. Every f""*ing game.
  8. nice one Noel

  10. This is why we have got Sebastian Coates. Suspect that Carra will likely get much more involved in the coaching side of things soon. After what I have seen of Coates, I think there is a high probability that we may have got a rather special Carra replacement. This is an old vid, he is even better now.
  11. It is hardly surprising that our new owners would pump some money into transfers during the first transfer opportunity. Who says we have to have a break even budget? That being the case and Dalglish blocks any Torres move, we then end up with Torres, Carrol, Suarez and possibly Adams. Come back Xabi to complete the dream. Barking mad ... or am I?
  12. Bromage It is brave to stick your head over the parapet on LFC forums. I also agree with you. Many of those on the forums are victim to personal attacks if they do not follow the noisy detractors. Benitez is potentially the best manager we have had for years and I remember his crushing machine that destroyed nearly everyone they played.. Behind the scenes there have been massive positive shake ups, the youth academy being a good example. The problems relating to the new stadium are due to the current world financial crisis. Working with infrastructure developments, I know that the banks will not stick their heads on the block for the financing without unrealistic expectations and costs. Contrary to popular belief, wishes, we do not have a sugar daddy as owners. It was mentioned that it is insulting to assume that all are influenced by the media. I agree but just look at the number of very active threads on this and all the other forums relating to the nonsensical, unsubstantiated reporting in the papers and it is easy to presume that a large number are influenced. LFC in its current state is still a work in progress. I for one would like to see it completed.
  13. Very entertaining, even though there are serious reasons behind this match. Seeing some of the best players ever, back together certainly brought back some fond memories. The rendition of YNWA at the end was class, especially the kids singing out of tune. Even Kenny seemed unsure whether to cringe or laugh. Get them on Britains got Talent.
  14. The usual nonsense that the media embelishes. What was said:- 'It is true that at times I may have thought about my future,' Benitez said. 'There was a lot of uncertainty at the club but when you put all of these things together and the fact I am sure we can improve, there was no doubt in my mind. 'It will be easier now the contract is done. Once you sign a contract you know you can start thinking about the future. Rafa at no time said he considered leaving. His contract with all the new modifications was taking time to finalise. The Rick Parry situation also needed concluding and was one of the reasons the new contract took so long to complete. The reason it was so important for Rafa to agree a new contract was to give him the powers to move the club positively forward without having his hands tied. Hence his concerns relating to the future. At no time were complications relating to Hicks and Gillet mentioned. I expect this sort of reporting from The S** or The Mail but not from The Liverpool Daily Post who even though they have stated it is a Daily Mail story, have still printed this rubbish.

    CLIQUE FORUM

Twice now I have had a thread locked for disagreeing with the clique on this forum. I wrote to admin last time and they could not even be bothered to reply. I have been called a number of things here that on most forums would be against the (AUP) "rules of the road in the YNWA Community". With regard to my last post; (locked) RTK are protesting along with several others about the ownership of the club. Reactions are taking place on heresay and media speculation. Most of the noise is based on non-facts or things that have not happened or are unlikely to happen. Hicks statement goes directly in the face of the RTK protest. Those who hold with the RTK view, it is you are behaving like a Mancs in 2005, and it is detrimental to the club and just gives the media more ammo to create unrest fantasy stories. You are all entitled to your opinions and so am I, but apparently not on here. I always thought this forum was for all fans/supporters but it seems that it is a think like us or else forum? This forum does not represent the views of all supporters or you would not be worried about differing perspectives to your own. I was a regular on the Kop in the 70's. Many here don't seem to remember those glory days or even the protests about the Kop being all seated. Good on you RTK, stop all banners that are not to your approval. Take control of all the songs "allowed". Ban all supporters from outside Liverpool. Woopie Doo, you're really great aren't you. The Kop was everyone that stood at that end of the ground, not just a small number that now sit in a certain area within it. This is no longer a forum for LFC old timers, anybody that sees further than a day or two ahead or anyone who has an iota of common sense. You can keep your PS2 Football Manager experts and your armchair business whizzes. I no longer consider this an impartial place to be and will leave you all, "small minority excluded" in your biased sad fantasy world.
  17. Can we please keep the pro RTK stuff out of this thread. Hicks' statement was released to PA Sport through financial and corporate communications consultancy FD. The reaction of many such as RTK do not represent the views of all of the supporters. In fact, I believe they actually represent a noisy minority. Almost mirror like similarities. http://www.malcolmglazer.com/
  18. I know what is meant here though. Most of the drama on the forums is from people, intelligent or not, who are definately influenced by the media. The Mirror and telegraph are currently two of the worst. The whole reason for this boycotting thread is most likely due to media influence. At no time have the new owners made any statement of their financial intent or of funds available but there are some on here that believe they have announced a spending cap, are in financial dire straits and want Rafa out, amongst other things. Is this based on facts or on media speculation. Nearly all the newspapers have little or no information as to what is going on behind the scenes at LFC, so they make up stories, embellish the tiniest grain of truth and twist and warp any information so that it appears completely truthful but is in fact 99% fantasy. It has spread like a virus and now even the few trusted TV pundits are making statements on issues that have no basis in fact. The vitriol towards our new owners is also a creation from these lies. Not so long ago many were praising their attitude towards the club, those same peeps are now slated for making any comments in favour of the new owners. Many of you are acting like the Mancs did when the Glazers took over. Four naff games. 10 points dropped and all of a sudden we are really awful. If those naff prem games had been won, we would be only a couple of points off the leaders. What then would everyone have to moan about? I'm sure the media would fill that gap and give some ideas for many of you. I, for one think that we should give the new owners a chance and give them our support. I don't think Rafa is on the way out,, well I hope not. Pity some of you don't remember the way Valencia played us off the park when Rafa was in charge or how they defied all the odds and dominated the Spanish League. Talk to any football whizzes in Italy or Spain and Rafa is seen as possibly the best in Europe. If we lose him because of a noisy minority, then shame on you. Want to see the future, then you only need to look at our academy and all the talent (potentially world class) that is soon to act on our stage. BACK THE OWNERS, BACK RAFA and BACK THE TEAM.

    Calm down

Rafa's comments about transfers were fairly innocuous. No one has been sacked. No one here really knows what is going on. All the hype has been started by the media wan*ers and media hanger ons. This is the 3rd day of reading panic reactions to a situation that has no real substance and will be resolved, if it hasn't already, in-house. Ex players like Mark Lawrenson, do not help with their brainless comments. It is nice to see that there is so much support for Rafa, considering that some total tossers were on here, not very long ago, shouting for his head. Whatever happens, I am not reading any more doom and gloom sh*te from idiots who know nothing except what they read in the fantasy press and create out of nothing situations. I refuse to read anymore crap and for the next few days will only watch the headlines on Newsnow - Liverpool. I will be amazed if my confidence in the status quo being resumed is unfounded.
  20. Glad to see, that some of you agree, especially as all we have been getting on this forum recently is negativity followed by knee jerk reactions. Did not mention it in the original post but if you want to get a glimpse of our future, try taking a look at the talent we have in our reserves and academy. I sometimes wonder if some of the so called supporters posting on here are really just Manc t***s trying to wind us up.
  21. I think all those calling for Rafa to get sacked are really sad. Actually, I think you are all complete tossers. The man is one of the best managers in the world. He has a long term plan to make LFC back into the powerhouse it used to be. He has funds and has still not completed his team line up. The new owners fully back him and the fact we have Rafa was one of the reasons they got involved. None of the team (except possibly Crouch) have a problem with his system. I, like many others, do not enjoy our games at the moment but our current form is just a glitch. Things will definitely improve. As most of you keep saying, the players are not performing but we are not losing premiership games and we are still up there with the front runners. The season is only a quarter old. Looking at the bigger picture, I can actually see we are turning a corner and longer term, I am extremely optimistic. I just hope you tossers and the media vilification do not drive him out.
  22. "Dog is writing war and peace" - Just finished it Why should I worry about the sad opinions of a few on here? No one here has said they are in favour of the Sun or that they wish to increase that publishers revenue but closing your eyes to a horror does not mean it will go away. The "sick joke" is the pathetic reactions of some of you so called fans towards other LFC fans. You want to play the frigging martyrs, then don't watch any TV that has adverts. They all at some time advertise the Sun. That's right, no more footy games to be watched on ITV or SKY. Boycott them all, send complaint letters to the TV programmers. Walk around with your eyes closed everytime you see a billboard. It might be advertising the Sun. Lobby the owner of the billboard. The knee jerk, sheep like reaction of some of you pratts is unbelievable. You have even been slagging someone off for visiting a website. ffs. You really want to make a difference, target all the vendors that sell the bloody thing. Even better, stop talking up the damn subject altogether. Some of you here really are blinkered morons and never see the bigger picture. The Sun, as well as the following are a small part of the same company NEWS CORPORATION, most at some time have advertised the Sun or been advertised in the Sun. Are you all going to boycott these too? Oh dear, BSkyB and MySpace are also part of the group, you had all better start cancelling subscriptions and accounts. BSkyB, DirecTV, News International, News of the World, The Sunday Times; The Times HarperCollins Publishers FOX Broadcasting Company 20th Century Fox MySpace; IGN Entertainment; National Rugby League
  23. Better to be clued up than not. Only happens once in a while. Takes less than a minute to compare their cr*p with what is the real news. Also when they have an LFC story they tend to have a huge back page spread that you can see others reading from afar. Always claim to be an exclusive but anyone knows it is boll*x as no one at the club shares info with them. All this makes me hate them even more and there is nowt wrong with that.
  24. Occasionally I pick up a freebee paper left on the train when traveling to work. Every once in a while there is a Sun. It is quite literally full of sh*te. Not just about LFC but nearly every story in this excuse for news is overblown and full of lies. TV guide is normally correct though. The Mirror comes a very close second. I also have a genuine hatred for this excuse of a rag and would not purchase one anyway but even if there were no valid reasons for avoiding this piece of sh*t, no one with any intelligence should buy this paper. Spread the word, hit them where it hurts, tell everyone why it is boycotted and make people feel guilty or braindead for buying it. Just one of their customers lost is cause for celebration.
  25. Spoke to the Sun Publishers last week. Asked them if the printing of the paper used any inks that would rub off on the skin. They asked why I was concerned. Explained I wanted to wipe my a*** with it.
