It's the aftermath that really scares me. Travel to work with two CFC fanatics and have told them how much i want to see Moaning Maureens face after we win and that I want to see Fat Frank and Drogba crying. Since last week, they have not stopped taking the p*ss and I would love to have the last laugh. The alternative is unbearable. No3 for me.

Don't know about those songs mentioned but there was definately one about Joe Cole taking it up the ar*e.

Good post Anny Road. Leo No8, Very good summing up of how the game went. Lets hope we now rip them apart back home.

Give him time. Another season and you will all be worshipping him.

Get real. The only good result would be a win, the larger the score differential, the better. Those who are happy with a loss or a draw need their heads testing. Either that or they love mega stress. Furthermore, the only good result overall for both semi finals would be for us to meet Milan in the final.

Just been chatting with a Gooner I know who is nearly always upto date with the rumours and speculation at Arsenal. He has heard nothing about Henry leaving and is more worried about the knock on effect from David Dein leaving. Said he would not rule anything out though as David Dein's son, Darren is Henry's agent.

ffs Post wasn't meant to be serious. We all know that this is tripe.

http://www.tribalfootball.com/article.php?id=36130 I know that we have been linked to Iaquinta for some time and there is another post mentioning this but talking to "The Sun" Please someone, confirm this is the usual gutter press and there is no truth in this. Don't you just love tribalfootball.

Is history repeating itself? Will we beat Chelsea with a controversial goal. AC Milan to knock the mancs out and we will then meet them in another repeat showdown. Everyone seems to be talking about a Manc and LFC final. Maybe it goes arseaboutface and Chelski meet Milan in the final. I'm hoping for a LFC vs Milan repeat.

Out of contract. Not been offered a new contract. Going back to PSV. Zendon was not hiding because he was playing to both sets of supporters. Still sh*te though.
-
Stupid to talk as if it was all over. It's not over until the final whistle. In Instanbul the AC Milan players were already celebrating at half time. Soon had the smile wiped from their faces. PSV are a good side. They are capable of causing an upset and in no way will they be underestimated in the next leg. CL is now priority. No silverware coming from elsewhere now.

http://www.sportingo.com/football/mcclaren...ptain/1001,2842 "So something has to be changed. Someone has to get the chop, and it can only be one man -- Frank Lampard has to go. He is a good player for Chelsea but has never set the international scene alight. He is the most over-rated player in world football today and he is a major obstacle in England's quest for glory. All these media stories about Europe's top clubs chasing Lampard's signature are just that....stories. The likes of Barcelona know he won't move from Chelsea and they don't want him. A player with Frank's ability would add nothing to their team; he simply is not up to that standard of football, he looks good at Chelsea simply because he is surrounded by great players." I was beginning to think it was only me that could see this. Made me smile.

Think some of you are missing the point. Crouch +, cash going Spurs way, Berbatov coming our way. This would be a like for like swap with both players performing the same function within the team. Crouch is unsettled at the moment as he is not getting enough games. Berbatov is probably a better all round player and is more prone to pass forwards rather than laying off/back all the time. their roles would be similar but I think we would get more class and a more versatile player by signing Berbatov. Berbatov in the Spurs team is good. In ours he could be awesome. Someone mentioned his crockability. No idea if he is one of those liable to get injured easily. With regard to his away workrate, that is something that Rafa is good at bringing out of any player. (except Cisse)

Too early to guess and you can bet we have all got it wrong. Only thing that matters is that we do not re-appoint Souness.

Mancs got Roma Chelsea got Valencia Bayern v AC Milan
-
PSV Eindhoven next then. Glad we did not get one of the English clubs.
-
Am I getting old, or is that really, really bad?
-
Would agree. Valencia under Raffa. Even when we played any of the others, we always looked as if we were in with a possible shout. Valencia played us off the pitch and made it look so easy too. It may have been embarrasing but it was definately a masterclass. Probably the game that prompted the board to go get Raffa for us.

and here was me thinking Fowler was reading my posts. Nice to see the post brought out some of the p*ss takers though. Guess no one knows if any of our team visit here then?
-
Do any of the team actually visit this forum? I mentioned Fowler and the USA last week and can't find any other related references and then we get a Fowler interview mentioning the US as a future option that was mentioned but one he has not considered yet. Hard to believe that one of my posts could be the source and it probably isn't but it's not that unbelievable if we get the players visiting here. Do any of the the players actually read any of this?

Those saying that there will not be a massive turnaround are probably right. We all know Dudek, Cisse, Le Tallec are more than likely gone. Selling HK is not necessarily good business although Spurs did show an interest earlier this season. Crouch. Sitting on the bench more and more. Does bring something to the game but for all his height is sh*t with his head. Linked in a swap deal for Trezeguet but the source is not the most reliable. Xabi is the one I would hate to see go but i have this horrible gut feeling. Hyypia - Difficult call. Riise - Another difficult call. Ballamy - Going nowhere. Garcia - Reckon he will stay. Zendon - Good but not world class. Could go. Fowler - Contract ends. May keep on as coaching assistant but likely to go somewhere he can play. USA?

Who is Sam Wallace? Do I care? If I was Bellamy I would have told the SKY interviewer to f*** **f. They and their pundits are bloody useless and it seems that there are a multitude of tabloid reporters that hate LFC winning anything. Important thing here is that the incident is closed as far as the club and players are concerned. I guess it is unlikely that any one in the media will know the full truth of what happened for some time yet. Good to see the club going back to the closed door mentality of the glory years. I for one am fed up of the SKY and ITV adulation and gay love that takes place when they discuss Arsenal and Chelski. I so hope neither of them win anything major this year.

Totally disagree. Well said Murph. Don't know about the nazi thing but to be the same as the rest is just classless.
