I admit I had serious doubts about his credentials a couple of seasons ago and had him down as nothing more than a good squad player. It's good to see him move up a level. I certainly have more confidence when he's named in the team

I actually think the exact opposite happens. People don't pick him as MOTM because when he does play well it's expected and therefore it's ignored -some of course don't pick him because of their own personal issues with him

Much as I love Alonso his passing is still off I think. What did you think was wrong with Gerrard's attitude??

His passing was better but I thought he was shrugged off the ball a bit too easily on several occasions today.

This is because Rafa has told Gerrard to play differently Is exactly right and its really beginning to p*** me off big time that the latest craze of Gerrard bashing seems to be on the increase.

A fit Carra would have to start, but it would be a shame to drop Agger and keep Sami in, but then again Sami has all the experience - Of course Rafa will do the right thing so we don't need to worry -

Yep I'll go along with that. Also thought Aurelio looked good going forward but a bit suspect in his positioning. I'd expect this to improve during coming weeks
