And here's me thinking this was a thread about 24, day 6 on sky.

Some websites claim he is a fan of both liverpool and the mancs (work that one out) and I have heard that he is often seen at our games. My point is that the comment was typical man u rubbish and I was surprised it was even read out.

You have to wonder why Gordon Burns read out the stupid comments from the manc fan at the end, he is after all supposed to be a Liverpool fan.

I feel sorry for Stallone, I mean most of the Americans I have met have a poor knowledge of geography outside of their own country anyway. If you asked most people in the UK where Meols was for instance, i doubt many if any could tell you, even people that live in Meols. Therefore when they told Stallone he would be going to a 'soccer' game in Liverpool his little heart must have skipped a beat. Maybe he heard stories of the amazing fightback in Istanbul, maybe he's heard of that real hero who comes good and wins (Gerrard) and who wouldn't want to meet a manager who inspires his players to such victories. I can imagine his pudgy little face as he drive past Anfield, eyes looking towards the Shankly statue, his mind going to the Rocky statue in his films and feeling the history and success as the limo carried on. Then the pure disappointment as the limo drives down some side street to woodison and the inbred pig farmers. "They said I was going to Liverpool" He screamed as they dragged him into the ground "they said I was going to Liverpool" His shoulders dropping and tears in his eyes as they draped an everton coat over him and placed a scarf in his hands. "That'll be 37.50 please Mr Stallone, not including 30 pounds for the ticket.

What about jan Molby? I was at the game last night and usually listen to the radio as well when I can. Unfortunately it wasn't Aldo last night it was fat jan. He almost suggested he nip out to his car to fetch a rope while some fans built the gallows at half time for Dudek. Shameful commentary from him and his sidekick. "Rafa has to substitute Dudek at half time" "I'd be very surprised if Dudek comes back out for the second half" as well as him and his sidekick blaming al the first half goals on Dudek. Stick to speeding and drinking fatso.

TIME TO KOP THE TRUTH KELVIN Brian Reade MEMO to Kelvin MacKenzie: If you're doing nothing at 5.15 tonight why not tune in to the Liverpool v Arsenal game on BBC1, where you will find 12,000 Kopites expressing what they think of your persistent campaign to rubbish the findings of Lord Justice Taylor's Report into the Hillsborough Disaster. It will last a full six minutes. Or as long as 96 fans were left by police to die inside cages while an FA Cup tie played on in front of them in April 1989. But I don't need to remind you of the details, as you know them all. Even though you were 200 miles away at the time. Because some anonymous Yorkshire copper who was ordered to deflect attention away from his force's culpability, span you a pack of lies, which you gladly published as The Truth, and which cost your newspaper dear. Perhaps you still loathe yourself for being a submissive lackey who mouthed a false apology at Rupert Murdoch's behest or maybe you're too vain to accept hard evidence and let it go. Either way you're still telling audiences, like the one in Newcastle last month, The Truth about Hillsborough was that Liverpool fans got tanked up, stampeded a gate, killed their own, and as they lay dying, pissed on them and stole their belongings. I just hope the Kop's tribute to you evokes a fraction of the anger and pain your continued lies do to the many people still living with the harrowing consequences of British football's most tragic day. But I don't think it will. Which, Mr Mackenzie, is the saddest Truth of all. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/topstories/tm...-name_page.html

I could be wrong here but I do believe that having an MBE allows some neck snapping privilages.

I said that a draw was a defeat to me, and at home with our incredible record a draw will feel to me like a defeat. No matter how you hate it or not. Against the team above us a win is even more important. With the teams around us so close we should be at least taking maximum points from home games, especially against wimbolton
-
a draw not bad? Am I reading this? A WIN is all we should be looking at. A draw is a loss as far as I am concerned. We have an incredible home record and 3 points is the absolute minimum.

Garcia, oops sorry he was Watford man of the match Bellamy Kuyt Alonso

I don't think 2nd is out of our reach, I do think that in order to get 2nd the chavs will have to struggle a little. I'd be happy with 2nd but gutted to see the mancs win it. That said, we wouldn't have to qualify for the CL at the start of next season and the squad will have proper time off and Rafa will have a decent amount of time for pre season. I'll be watching the two blueshytes tomorrow and hoping they both lose.

Thank god I have found someone else who agrees with me, I watched that game with my mates and we counted 18 free kicks that he took without allowing anyone else a chance to kick them, that might include corners. Anyway eventually like someone else said, one went in. He had no discipline that day and was all over the place. I am sure had we lost or not qualified then the media would have picked up on this, as it was they ignored it.

There's something perverse about a chavski site having a dig at us. They stand for everything that is bad in football, they have no class and are incredibly envious of us as we ooze it. To spend disgusting amounts of money on players and buy other players so that their competitors can't have them and then criticise us shows just how stupid they are. It's a little like buying all of the balls in the only sports shop in town and then having a dig at the people who are kicking cans around. We'll do them, we'll get our team together. I do know that when we lift that premiership trophy it will be all the sweeter as it won't be tainted. It will have been bought with the blood and guts of a hard working team and the tactical brain of our manager, not with a wad of unlimited cash.

It's been a good weekend for us overall. All of the teams around and above us threw away points over the weekend and for such a poor team we could be sitting in third place come Wednesday night. Here are the fixtures for this coming Wednesday. Bolton v Chelsea Aston Villa v Man City Fulham v Arsenal Liverpool v Portsmouth Man Utd v Everton Bolton v Chelsea You can never really predict the results with true certainty but chelsea should beat bolton, although nearly every team seems to suffer at the reebok. I'd take a draw in that game but more likely fat face sam's side will be pinned back. They have a two goal advantage on goal difference with us so should we win and they lose we would over take them. Aston Villa v Man City On 23 points and a 6 goal difference Aston Villa really need to get beaten by city. That's not beyond belief and if city show some of the performance they found at times in the second half against us on Saturday then they could sneak this. Fulham v Arsenal Arsenal have not been that good away this season, they could beat Fulham easily (like they do every year) and yet they could also be held to a draw, which would be the perfect result for us. However they do have a game in hand on us. This is by far the longest shot and the game that could stop us going 3rd. Liverpool v Portsmouth I watched the newcastle v portsmouth game today and if they play the same way against us on Wednesday night at Anfield I can't see having that many problems. We need to win, we could also do with a few extra goals to boost our goal difference. While we could go third anything but a win would be a disaster and take away any advantage we have gained this weekend. Man Utd v Everton The mancs v the bluenoses, this should be fun. two teams that do nothing else but sing about us. Still, you just can't see the bluenoses getting anything from this at all, I do think that a draw would be a superb result but I'd also not be too unhappy if the bluenoses beat utd. Why can't they both lose. Just a little fun of course but with some fortune we could be in third and then it's up to us to hold onto that, build some distance between the lower teams and work hard to take advantage of any mistakes the top two make.

Anyone know where I could find a bigger version of this pic?

Assuming Garcia is fit then the same team as midweek. Although Pennant could come in for Garcia if he isn't fit.
-
but will abandon the rotation system for a 'play them into the ground' system.
-
For sure. Rafa will follow him.

I hate people that leave early, especially the ones that leave early at half time and as they walk past they suddenly stop and watch an excitng it of play IN FRONT OF ME. I had one daft cow stop and start to text someone, AARRGGHH. The daft cow that left early for a cuppa before half time against Reading last week missed two of the three goals, it's crazy. (I must point out that it is not just women that leave early)

Sounds like he's fed up with life at Liverpool and having to play on the right and will probably move at the end of the season.
-
Thought he was unlucky with that long shot he had that almost dipped in.
-
He was never touched and a long nail on Riise's hand did the damage as he dug it into his own head to make it appear he was butted. (French press) Seriously, though Bordeaux are saying he made a meal of the headbutt, how the hell do you stay on your feet and not react and make a meal of it, b*****d cheese eating surrender monkeys.
