So called owners...chairman...directors...i would boot them all out. There is not one single soul thats trustable at that level. Simple as. I cannot believe that it has taken this long for people (including the Echo and former players) to realise what a joke our club has turned into. That Liverpool FC have maintained any forward momentum is a miracle! A miracle directly due to the hard work and unselfish input of Rafa Benitez. No matter what anyone says he has kept the club with some semblance of unity over the past few years. The (mis)reign of Thicks and Gillett and their incessant pig-headed greed has tainted the grandeur of this World famous institution. I dont care what anyone says, but these prats must be the first ones to go. Nothing else matters. I am willing to forego a leauge title or two, just to ensure these prats are gone, and gone for good. I'm sorry, but thats the way i feel right now. We will beat Man Utd next weekend. And these muppets holding our club will receive yet another stay of execution. Personally i dont believe in this five year rule. By that rule Fergies tenure would have been brought to an well before he'd got his hands on a a league title and turned also rans into the most dominant force in english football over the next two weekends...and whatever the case we are getting closer...i think it would have been an absolute miracle to win the league outright without at least having been involved in a title race prior to that...i suppose we've kind of been in one and we'll benefit from it.

We should have won that game today. We were unlucky not to. We are second to a team who are premier league, european and world club champions and a club that is relatively stable. I dont like it but its not something to be ashamed off. Rafa Benitez came to Liverpool FC thinking he'd be leaving the shennanigans of the Valencia board behind...instead here its infinitely more farcical than it ever was in spain. It is stunning that Rafa didnt throw in the hat ages ago. He's built us up to a European power again, and we're getting back to challenging / almost challenging for the title. Give Rafa a budget, some peace, and some support and i have no doubt we'll be league champions again. As it stands though we're fast going to lose Rafa and what happens beyond that is pretty obvious. We spent twenty years since Dalglish trying to get the right man for the job and when we do some of us want him out simply because he's only took us to second place. For $%&£s sake which idiots brought thicks and gillett to our club..how much real investment have they brought? what do they know about football? what do they care about success in real terms? its all so bleak.

I'm not going to be blinded by Gillett. Gillett was the one who brought this muppet Thicks along. If Gilletts holds out and takes Thicks down with him i will be happy. But why should a kid who creates the mess be credited for subsequently cleaning it up? He should be forced to clean it up. So Mr Gillett you better take this clown called Thicks with you..or else!!

T.Hicks is a complete and utter muppet. I cannot believe that some people are being caught out by this prats spin. Thank God that we actually may be heading towards the bitter end of Gillett and Thicks' reign. There is no way that Thicks (or Gillett) for that matter should have anything to do with our club. Some people despise Gillett more. Some people despise Thicks more. But does it matter. They are both muppets of the highest order, and need to be removed forever.

Thats exactly what i was going to write. Thicks and Gillett have got themselves into a mess. Their greed (cant see it being pride) is making them hold our club to ransom. Its to Rafas credit that hes brought us this far. I'd hate to think what would have happened if the likes of Souness and GH had been running the club on the miserly budget that these muppets sanctioned. I say sanctioned, its not even as if its provided by them. Immense joke.

Some are just dumb guesses while others may actually be closer to the mark. Some of the names mentioned include Silva, Cambiasso (27 doubt it), Downing (not English), Van Der Waart, Moutinho...hang on hang on...stop right there...the whole point of this is to see who you guys come up with. So no more names hah! I saw highlights of the Dutch against Cameroon (under 23s). Drenthe would have been nice for us, but there are still other option. Lets see what happens.

Well said Elisha. We've been spoilt in recent years, and all thanks to Rafa. We need a result later tonight and i've got a feeling we'll get it. The nerves have already kicked in. Its going to be some day. Lets hope it ends in the right way.

Someone shoot Hicks, NOW! i detest this man so much. Hes playing his LAST cards with the Rafa stuff, but Rafas going to be at Liverpool a long time after these idiots have cleared off. If it wasnt for the brilliant performances put in by the Rafas Mighty Reds in recent times i can bet you any money that these guys would not even dare utter the name Liverpool nevermind come to watch a game. Rafa has done extraordinarily well under the circumstances, which have been infinitely worse than what went on at Valencia. Someone should give this man a medal. To say that Liverpool have been outstanding in Europe during Rafas time here is an under statement of epic proportions. The man has really put us back at the top of the European tree, while all the time we have headed in the right direction in the Premier league. Who knows what might have been if the Klinsmann debacle hadnt messed things up for us. Who knows. I hope Rafa wins us number 19, and it will be sweeter to win it under new ownership.
