  1. Loads by me left 5 mins before the end
  2. I hope he the the rest of the Xenophobic media pundits get their way and England hires someone like Allardyce, i'd like to see their faces when England fail to qualify for European Championship.
  3. He was crap today - miss-kicking, giving the ball away cheaply, losing out in challenges he should have won - poor game all around
  4. Fair play to them, they were quite loud and some of their chanting was quite - funny particulary the "handball" chants (also had some on the train back singing "we're sh@t and we know we are") however they spoilt it a bit with their "sign, sign on" crap
  5. Yeah i heard that at the match too, can't remember who it was suppose to be by though
  6. Hiddink would have been better IMO but Scolari is a much better choice than the likes of Allardyce
  7. Most of the hotels seem fully booked on Saturday, I was looking for one for ages but had no success.
  8. I stopped at 89, and the song was still doing the rounds - must have reached 100 On a side note I hate going up to Upton Park, the queue at the tube station is ridicilous.
  9. 1. Everton 2. Man Utd 3. Chelsea 4. Millwall 5. Cardiff
  10. i'll be there
  11. He has Boumsong and Bramble in front of him, it's impossible not to concede with a defence like that, they would have conceded a hell of a lot more goals and would be much further down the table were it not for Given
  12. Although Reina has been fantastic this season i reckon Given is a good choice as GK in that team, he has done brilliantly for Newcastle with that dodgy defence in front of him. Finnan should have been in that team though
  13. F@cking Lawro kept saying how Sissoko was faking his injury when he clearly got a boot in the knee and was in pain
  14. Fantastic game out there today, was taking the piss out of ther defenders
  15. Link Pongo: I will quit Anfield By Nick Smith FLORENT Sinama-Pongolle is ready to turn his back on Liverpool in the quest for regular first team football. Whether that will be at Blackburn is still unclear as no decision has yet been made by Rovers on whether to make his loan move from Anfield permanent yet. But the French striker is willing to accept that his days with Liverpool are numbered because he needs to be playing week in week out. Pongolle couldn't figure for Rovers on Sunday because they were playing his current employers at Ewood but he has made six Premiership starts for Rovers in three months - already half as many as he's had with the Reds in three years. Such a statistic is a good indicator as to why Pongolle would feel more comfortable with Rovers than he would under Rafa Benitez, who could exclude the 21-year-old altogether if he decides to offer Robbie Fowler a contract. Pongolle said: "I'm 21 years old and I need to play. I need to enjoy my time on the pitch and have a proper experience. "It's more difficult when you're sitting on the bench or you're not involved. It's frustrating because in Liverpool, whether I played well or didn't play well, I didn't know if I was going to be playing in the next game. "For a striker it's really difficult because in your head it's all about confidence and that comes from scoring goals. "That's why I need to start a game and not think or worry about whether I'm going to play the next game, just enjoy it and have fun. "Then everything will come into place. "When you're young and you're not playing it's really difficult but you learn and make sure you're ready when you get your chance. "But that's what I've been dong for three years now and I would say that's what I don't want now any more. "I just want to enjoy it and play with confidence, go from the start of a season and play through to the end of a season. "My choice is going to be really important because next year it will be four years over here and then I'm really ready to have more games and have more impact in the Premiership." Pongolle hasn't exactly set Ewood alight since coming on loan, with one goal in his seven appearances, but he has shown glimpses of forming a good understanding with Craig Bellamy. He isn't concerning himself too much with assessing his record at Rovers, however, choosing instead to focus on the four remaining game of the season, starting tomorrow at Birmingham. And Pongolle, who has performed impressively in the Champions League with Liverpool in the past, reckons that staying with Blackburn might not necessarily mean he has to give up on performing on that stage again. "I wouldn't say it's impossible," said Pongolle. "We definitely need to win our four games but I know we can do it. "We have a great team, squad and staff and the club is ready for that stage - we really, really believe we can do it. "We have four big games left and none of them are easy games to play but in football no game is easy. Liverpool played well and they are a good team but we proved in the last three or months what we can do. "I would be happy to say here and I'm enjoying it, but at the moment it's wait and see because nothing is really done. "My first focus is the game against Birmingham then the rest of the season." 7:00pm today
  16. This is the same Fat Sam that claimed he knew how to handle Diouf and could get the best out of him. As Scot said, the c**** deserve each other.
  17. I don't understand why so many are reluctant to give him any praise, he still hasn't reached back to his best yet (which he admits himself) but his quality is returning and he has made himself an integral part of the team again.
  18. Congratulations GH, really pleased for him
  19. We shall never forget, nor stop fightting for justice R.I.P the 96, You'll Never Walk Alone
  20. Anderson looks like a quality player, great technique (that scissor kick was quality) and he has unbelievable energy - he was all over the pitch, attacking and tracking back.
  21. Link Leon Osman has seen two of his goals chalked off by the FA's "Dubious goals" committee, while Liverpool's Peter Crouch's first "goal" for Liverpool still stands. Leon's goals against Wigan and Portsmouth have been given as own goals, which has understandably upset the young midfielder, who said, "I am very upset to say the least. I felt I scored them both." "People immediately gave the Wigan one to Thompson, but as he slid in he propelled my foot to kick the ball and that is how it went in the net, so I am a bit disappointed. "I think at first people assume it was an own goal, but if you look back at it you can clearly see that it was my goal. I knew immediately that it was my goal and that is why I ran off celebrating it." "At Portsmouth, the ball bounced and I didn?t get a massive touch on it," he added. "But I got the bottom of my boot on the ball and it went in the back of the net, so as far as I am concerned, that is my goal." "I think that what is said immediately after the game should stand, that would mean I would get one and lose the other, but it is better than nothing." Peter Crouch, meanwhile, saw his first Premiership "goal" for Liverpool given after his shot took a 90 degree deflection off a defender, and was then punched into his own goal by hapless Wigan keeper Mike Pollit. Who said anyone at The FA was biased in any way?
  22. Interesting snippet, Rafa has certainly had a big impact on Riise, as both tackling and positioning has improved a hell of a lot in the last couple of seasons.
  23. Really sh@te atmosphere in the ground today, worse i've seen in a long time - apart from the occasional bursts of songs from the kop and the Boltan fans, there was hardly any noise in the ground (except from everyone sl@gging off Cisse).
  24. The thing is, it was'nt even like it was near the end of the game (they were time wasting from the kick off) or that they were ahead or anything.
  25. There was also a situation where Fowler was blantantly brought down right in front of the linesman, he did'nt give the freekick but the referee who was yards away thankfully saw it. Robbie stood up and had a right go at the linesman
