Murph, I think you're like me, in that you think 70 million should be buying a world record fee type player. But for whatever reason it is, it doesn't. It buys someone that's just not too s***, above average, but well below balon dor level. I for one baulked at the bellingham price for that same reason. In my eyes, 80-100 million buys you a prime Zidane or Gerrard. But in all honesty it doesn't even come close to that.
