I know the levels of money in the game now are in another stratosphere. But in the 80's we regularly broke British records most seasons. The hard truth is. For genuine title aspirations, the only cebtral midfielder you'd currently keep is thiago, the rest, in a nutshell, are past it. Hendo, Milner, Fabinho are genuinely finished at this level, keita and chamberlain are too injury prone. Thiago is similar, but he's so bloody good when fit, that you'd easily keep him. But we genuinely need two starting central midfielders.

He's not making any tackles. Which in turn is giving the opposition too many chances to overload trent. I'm not saying trent is blameless so far this season, but the fact he's getting no protection in front of him is a bigger issue than people want to admit
