I read somewhere he was back doing rehab and light work already. I wouldnt be holding my breath obviously. But the guy is a specimen, it wouldn't shock me that's for sure.

im going to go against the grain here regarding the whole England duty and Gomez subsequent injury. That tendon was going to go, it just so happened it went when he was away with England, as opposed to training in Melwood/Kirby. But similar to everyone else, there's no two ways about it now, we badly need another centre half, if not 2 in january. the past 2 years with both Virgil and Gomez at the centre half, we had arguably the quickest pair of centre halves in the league, if not world football. Now we're pinning all our hopes on kids and centre midfielders....Thats like giving Lewis Hamilton my citroen dispatch and expecting him to continue his winninf streak, its not possible.

I can see us going on a run until the utd game in January, obviously I'd fill expect to beat that lot, but to be fair, our games with them, regardless how poor either team has ever been, are always very tough.

That's right, I remember that. It is a bit of a right of passage these days in the football world, but usually it happens through an innocuous incident on a pitch, like a twist or fall. I think we're all freaking out is because it was inflicted on our talisman, by our local rivals...... If ever we needed to come together with a "siege mentality", now is it. Fingers crossed the big man gets back in the last few games, and hopefully to help us lift one of the major trophies again.

I'd be very suprised if kelleher doesn't start against Everton. Klopp never throws his players under the bus after a s*** performance, so those blunders from karius mignolet and Lovren spring to mind. He'd defend them after the game, then drop them for the next. I fully expect the same to happen here. Because being honest, if the lad doesn't get a chance now, he never will.

Ok, he was on loan last year but perhaps he feels the training he gets with our first team on a daily basis is more benificial for him than playing minutes for some mickey mouse outfit in the first division. I know someone that met our reserve keeper (kelleher). Kelleher was saying the standard, for him training with Allison and the first team of night and day to when he goes and plays with the U23's. Perhaps Brewster feels similar?

I don't think I could disagree more. Wijnaldum is easily one of our best midfielders, his ability till regain possession is so underrated. I'm not saying your man thiago isn't better, because in truth I haven't really seen him play so I can't have a valid opinion on him. But wijnaldum strikes me as a guy you'd like to replace but his level rises the tougher the competition

I don't think we need sancho, is he better than either salah or mane? Probably not. Ideally we'd find a similar player to firmino, only one that scores more goals.....
