  1. I read a great article, write in by some spurs fan over in football 365 just now. I didn't watch the spurs and Burnley game but Mourinho had the audacity and cheek to start with 5 centre halves. Who the f*** does that. Anyway, here's the quote I found most amusing Maybe Mourinho isn’t the loser in all this. He got his point and got to make one. "Maybe it’s Spurs who are the losers for being the canvas at which he currently flings his s***"
  2. is he really that good though? ive seen the odd bit of him ,here and there, and he's good obviously, but best player of a generation good? i dont think so.
  3. I'm sorry, but it won't. That's Messi or Ronaldo money for me
  4. He's not wrong, but van dijk was just as culpable today. The 3rd goal he was just ball watching, very rookie mistake. f*** it, dust ourselves off and go again. Because that was pathetic Well done to Watford though, deserved their 3 points
  5. If you look at highlights of alisson on YouTube. He to looks lucky with the shots he faces. Maybe being in the right place at the right time is a talent in itself
  6. We're rather miserly in the goal conceding department ourselves the past two years. It won't be an open affair, but we'll win over the two legs.
  7. Seen very few of these, because I tend to keep my footballing viewing to our games and match of the day. I'm not a teenager anymore. Saying that, ill be disappointed if we don't sign Werner. No interest in Sancho, way to expensive, and your man Mbappe comes across as a little prick.
  8. Personally, I think mathematically it'll be done either before we visit goodison or after we beat the blues in goodison. But being honest, it was over the day we battered city in anfield. It was similar to when they beat us last season, there was an air of resignation about the defeat. Last year our players believed they'd be caught, while this year theirs believed we where out of reach.
  9. It's so refreshing to see Terry centre halves with as much pace as ours. I know personally I used to look at utd with absolute envy when they had stam, ferdinand and other centre halves that where as quick as the opposition strikers. For the first time in my memory we're now the ones with the fast centre halves. Thanks be to f***!
  10. How many points did the arsenal invincibles get by the way?
  11. saved our a*** yet again when it counted. Big game player. Seems to be a brazilian thing. Standing up when the s*** hits the fan
  12. He actually now has more clean sheets for us than he's conceded goals for us. That's f***ing mental
  13. I think klopp is trying to save him to be honest. Because he had an excellent game today. Besides the good attacking play, some of his defensive work was fantastic.
  14. ive said it before, and ill say it again, his positional sense is so f***ing good, it makes just about save look simple. Thats his gift Just look at his highlights from his career on youtube, you rarely, if ever see these De Gea style wordly saves. In fact, you'd be forgiven to think that everything seems to come straight at him. But lets be honest, nobody is that lucky, there's a reason the shots come at him, in what seems like a routine fashion. Its because he's always in the right place at the right time. This guy is beyond good. Im putting it out there, he's possibly our best ever keeper
  15. I saw Tonali play for the Italian U21's against ireland this year, and ill be honest, i thoght he was crap. The young lad West Ham have loaned out to Millwall had him in his pocket all night. I was suprised how ordinary he looked going by all the talk about the lad. Great head of hair though
  16. super player. In my opinion if Senegal had of won the African Cup of Nations then he should have gotten the Ballon D'or. Alas he'll have to settle for the best player in Africa instead. Well done to him!!
  17. In 5 years I think it'll be trent captaining this side. But Gomez is an amazing talent, no doubt denying that
  18. That team works wipe the floor with Everton. But ill honest, if klopp wants to play the under 8's, then I've no issue with that either. I hate to admit it, but it's only the fa cup
  19. Unlikely, there's not many centre halves in the world as good as Joe gomez, when he's in the form that he is at the moment
  20. Absolutely, people can say what they want about him (me included). But he gives 100% in every game. Credit where it's due
  21. Get a dodgy box and watch it nbc. Much better coverage than sky.
  22. It's an Irish persons civic duty to give their children awkward names for foreigners to pronounce. Mine are Darragh and Niamh. The boys is easy, the girls, hmmm, it'll give her some fun when she's older
  23. Isn't fabinho still in an ankle brace?
  24. my missus booked a week for the us and the kids to butlins or some holiday camp in North Wales for the week of the last game (we're irish) Completely coincidental, but she's been informed that please god we do finally win the league, im going to liverpool for the night of the victory parade. Fingers bloody crossed.
  25. Good shout that. We've nearly become blahzay to these 40 yard diagonal balls. Yet no one else seems to be able to do them as frequently as we do. Bag dijk does them, both full backs, gomez not so much but he steps out and beats the first press regularly. All our midfielders do it. I can only assume that the team must drill these situations over and over. Because I don't ever remember Henderson or wijnaldum being the second coming of xabi alonso (with pace). So the lads must be practising the long balls constantly
