  1. Yeah him or raphinha from Leeds seem to be possible candidates
  2. Probably patson daka would be the one out of the unobvious lot. We like the red bull model so could exploit getting one of their players again although minamino hasn’t worked out as yet.
  3. It’s another player with major availability issues though. No point keeping him if he’s only (match) fit and sharp for such a small part of the season
  4. 27 in may so a little older than we usually target
  5. Hang fire everyone, Rodney marsh knows something...
  6. Why so “cryptic “ with the numbers not exactly hard to work out!!
  7. If you think that Phillips ox Keita shaq origi minamino could go for 50m in total plus Grujic Wilson Ojo karius awoniyi Woodburn could fetch another 30m or so we’ve brought in 80m or so. All very simplistic I know but it’s not a terrible. The likes of Sanchez and auoar could maybe come in for something like 50m we know kabak is 18m if we buy him plus daka at maybe 30/40m. Again all very simplistic depending on payment structure etc but should be doable.
  8. So we probably need a centre back - kabak is he’s any good or if not the options seem to be one of the french lads at Leipzig or Celta-car. Options could then be vvd, kabak, Gomez, Davies, matip (Williams Phillips) In midfield we probably need two - a Gini replacement (links with bissouma, soumare and Sanchez) and then a more creative/attacking type (recent links with goncalves, olise and auoar and buendia previously but eze seems promising and were also linked with szobolazi (sp) who’s just gone to Leipzig). Options could then be Fabinho Henderson Thiago Jones bissouma auoar (Milner ox Keita) Then in attack it all depends if one of the front 3 leave. If they don’t then probably a proper CF is needed to replace firmino. Highly unlikely that’ll be mbappe (Madrid) or haaland (city) so maybe someone like daka at Salzburg who has been linked. If one of the big 3 leave then can see maybe sancho coming in as well. Options could then be mane firmino salah Jota Elliot daka (origi shaq minamino) That would involve a lot of outgoings tho which we’ve found quite difficult but if we did manage to offload those who are on loan and are currently not up to it (injuries/ability) then they could fund a decent chunk of the incomings.
  9. Off the top of my head City have had Laporte augero and now de bruyne out for a while think Fernandinho has missed a few as well. Mendy seems permanently crocked. Utd I can’t really think of anyone. Got to be due a rashford / fenrnades injury...
  10. That Barry chap also saying salah and Thiago face fitness tests
  11. Jankewitz is one of only four players to be sent off in the opening two minutes of a PL game: Tim Flowers (Blackburn v Leeds, Feb 95), Ben Thatcher (Wimbledon v West Ham, Dec 97) & Gareth McAuley (WBA v Man C, Mar 15).
  12. konate injury problems would worry me. Currently out with an ankle problem just sheer turning from a hip (I think ) issue
  13. Alonso

    Joe Gomez

Just in time to be selected for the euros and then return injured again
  14. Whereas Joyce has had this to say... Paul Joyce Lack of new signings “Sign a CB” was trending on Twitter last night, but there seems little prospect of reinforcements arriving at Anfield before the transfer window closes, largely because of unavailability but also as a consequence of the financial implications of coronavirus. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/...the-back-as-hugo-lloris-disappoints-ftbqcx55v
  15. Bit of a briefing/common thread here from lfc journos...
  16. Maybe he’s just getting ahead of any criticism if he leaves this summer citing the club left him with no option and feeling unwanted.
  17. “What else could I do, the club weren’t willing to offer me another deal and PSG came in with a very attractive offer making me feel wanted, so with a heavy heart have decided to move onto another chapter of my career but lfc will always have a special place in my heart. YNWA”
  18. Yes, as part of his daily mail article so won’t link it here.
  19. As part of the article he said he wouldn’t have given them if fergie (and he called him that) was still in charge
  20. Footy Accumulators @FootyAccums · 9h Mark Clattenburg on Klopp: “He does not like losing, he never has. He gets prickly. But he is wrong to suggest there is an aura around United that sees them given favourable decisions. There used to be when Fergie was there, but that has eased massively since he left.” Eased but not gone
  21. Yeah think it was. Found it, it was something that Duncan castles mentioned... “One player who has been mentioned is Eder Militao, the centre-back at Real Madrid who is out of favour there,” Castles said. “Madrid are trying to offload the player, they want ideally to sell. I’m told their asking price is €50 million (£44.5m), but there is the option there of getting Militao on a six-month loan deal with an option to buy at the end of the season.”
  22. Seen £44m mentioned but can’t remember where I saw that
  23. Sounds like they’re happy for a loan now but then a purchase in the summer at a pretty high transfer fee so depends if we want him as a long term option and think their valuation is fair.
  24. We were heavily linked with him before he moved from Porto to Madrid
