  1. then enjoy now the most joyous moment of the season.
  2. squad is paper thin...let s hope we are still challenging until JAN, then owner or no owners we MUST dip in the market, loans, buys, barters, exchanges, frauds, blackmails, threats, anything that lands quality on anfield' s turf.
  3. Spurs Pavlyuchenko could be good, cheap, realistic addition inmho. Higuain would be an excellent coup, howver a tad unrealistic.... VDV not playing also How about we take all three eh??
  4. It is a huge turning point! Huge boost with aqui almost ready, agger fit, carra back, captain marvellous and torres almost to 100%... All this should set us up for a long run in snatching 3 points... couple or one shrewd additions in jan... and we will be a happy bunch come mAY.
  5. c'mon aqui. get ready to fill in.
  6. masch aurelio torres
  7. Chain the b*****d
  8. It s on! This was such a CRUCIAL, VITAL math. 3 points were so important today and our lads rose to the occasion as always! Well done to all those who figured in this titanic battle. you boys have made us proud! Cant wait to see aquilani playing alongside gerrard torres and yossi.
  9. agreed
  10. fecking england internationals!!!!
  11. Just ask yourself... Could teh Rijkarrads Hiddinks Capellos done a better job than Rafa???? I think nowt! The man with very limited resources took us to Istanbul and Athens and a whisker from winning the League. He bought a lot of young quality players waiting to break through... Nemeth, Pacheco, Mavinga, etc RAFA IN YOU WE TRUST!!!! tHE one thing i dont like is teh piece where he says that he odet negotiate the player-price himself. I think a manager should be directly involved even in the negoatiations
  12. the idea of sacking rafa is utterly nonsense. for all his mistakes he is one of the best managers around. the amount of money given to him to work with in the market is laughable, yet LFC always mange to exceed their expactions come end of the season. i for one cannot imagine that he would have sold xabi unless he was falsely promised that alonso s proceeds would be made available to him.
  13. completely agree. kelly seems confident, he s 20 years old. ready for some first team action. johnson can amend the furiously most obvious lagging charateristic in our team, which is the consistent ability to beat the opposing full-back down the line.
  14. vs utd if all are fit i would go with riena kelly carra agger aurelio johnson gerrard masch riera benni torres johnson and kelly should do a great job down the right both defensively and attacking riera would give us some needed balance and width down the left. aurelio s sweet left foot should whip in some dangerous crosses. he s solid defensively as well gerrard/masch partnership should win the tussle in midfield possession benni is our creative force, is in good form so is preffered to kuyt. we will batter those manc t***s. with this win at our backsides in will come aquilani and things will get rosy again. mark my words.
  15. For reasons I dont even fully understand i still have faith in him and hope he l come good. Perhaps his amazing speed, ridiculous strength, powerful shot, and discreet technique, compel me to think that this young lad if he just can gain a bit of confidence, poise, and finally is able to feel at home by his manager, team-mates and fans alike, just maybe he cannot, not come good... but also maybe this thought of mine propels me towards my first steps of lunacy.
  16. Lack of transfer funds Rafa s choices in the market Investments by other club in the league are the rotating factors as to why we are suffering such a bad start. However the league is far from over. Utd and chelski will lose points along the way. Problem is that we must learn to make an immediate profit n their losses. To do this we need Aquilani living to his promise, adapt to the premiership in the fastest humanly possible way, an injury free-season to our top players and a dip in the transfer market in Jan and a win next sunday! Otherwise our chances are bleak and we must resign ourselves to a hopeful top 4 finish.
  17. probably going on a nice holiday
  18. Good point there. Babel will have a very successful career in football, with us or not... sometimes he tries too hard to impress which often leads to an extra dribble or a shot instead of a threaded pass, thereby choosing the wrong option. He just need to gain his and his manager's confidence back, feel part of the team, relax and calmly express himself on the pitch. At least that what i still hope. As for Lucas i have less hope that he will really make it here. What exceptional attribute does this player have?? Tackling? pace? goals? long passes? footballing brain??? Really dont know. however considnring the way fletcher is playing at the moment for teh scum, remmembering how he used to plat at 22, not all is lost for lucas just yet.
  19. i agree we need masch or gerrard as cover but defending properly doesnt necessarily mean compensating your attacking play.
  20. sez plain truth
  21. what title dreams??
  22. I do think that Daniel Agger can do a very good job at LB
  23. wasnt that robben?? im still hoping we could add some more flair to our squad. VDV may help barring injury -prone concerns
