He's basically another (better) version of Baros. He'll get important goals and do important stuff but not often enough and needs replacing.

TBH I think part of that is on the coaching staff. They're very (VERY) good at HT talking him through how to be effective, where to run, who to bully. They're not quite so good at telling him how to make the most of attributes, of which he clearly has to be anywhere near as effective when the game is an open book in the opening phases. That really might be his limitations as a footballer, but that doesn't really tally with the chaos thing, cos that should be where his strength would be.

Lisbie scored 16 goals in total for Charlton in 155 apps. That's a goal just over every 10 games. Basically scored a season's worth of goals against us in one game. Ridiculous. That was back in the day when the football matrix was still being run by a manc algorithm.

I thought he was terrible in the 1st half, particularly with Szoboszlai, who he gave at least a couple of dubious FKs against and gave nothing in reverse, one was particularly obvious. He was much better in the 2nd half. He either watched the highlights or someone told him that Brighton were having him on. On the plus side he didn't give Mac a 2nd yellow when he could have done early in the 2nd, again, the 1st he got at the end of the 1st half was nonsense and I think everyone knew it including the ref.

Yeah I think Saka will start and will probably last most of the game. He gets subbed a lot anyway, maybe be subbed earlier. Timber will start but won't make the whole game and if he does it will **** him up. He's barely played for months. Calafiori will also start because they've got **** all else. He's injured. And they've got Newcastle and Chelsea next. These are not fun times for Arsenal fans. I don't think we really give a **** what their lineup is.

And arsenal are at home tonight. Leipzig doesn't look easy to fly to and from either. I can't find any direct flights from the UK and it's 4hrs+ from the nearest other airport (Prague).

I had the "pleasure" of having to listen to it on Talksport. Matterface didn't shut up about it for the rest of the game. I thought he had a good game and to tbh, other than the "he's a number 10" thing I don't really see anything wrong with him. Yeah, I'd like him to score more goals and get more assists, but I'd also like... He does some great running and is a threat to do something unexpected. Though If you're reading this Dom, what I really want is goals. Really good goals. And some neat, cute crosses when and if you get the chance.
