Brighton will only want him if they can flip him in 2 seasons for at least what they pay plus his wages. Big risk paying £40-50m for him and giving him a £10m+ contract. It'd distort their wage structure too. West ham not so much. Nor Forest.

maybe they did, maybe the didn't I'm quite confused as to what to think TBH. Especially as they presented a level of hell masquerading as half time entertainment.

WTF was that???

This kinda b****x will be headlining festivals in a few years. It’s been a slippery slope since the 99s

wtf is this s***?

Hang on. Darwin’s had a hair cut

Chiesa was good in the 1st half. Looks a bit stronger. Hopefully he can gain a bit of pace with his fitness.

Yeah I'm looking forward to it. Obviously will be tinged with sadness but I like watching us play football.

Yeah, but them seeding it anyway means they might as well try to get the two best teams in the later season in the final. UEFA/The TV will want to try to avoid all the big teams being at home on the same nights too. And gives rolling news extra old rope to rabbit on about permutations. I think the answer is just to finish top and not worry about it.

Yeah, that would be my preferred method, with the seedings being based on the CL league positions. But I can understand why they'd not want that given how things often pan out with teams improving and the January window etc.

They could use coefficients.

It's simple enough and although I think making it simpler by making it a straight whoever finished higher, I don't mind that. It gives some merit to knocking out the better teams that might finish higher and passing on some of that merit to the later knockout rounds. The idea of seeding is to increase the likelihood of the two best teams being in the final, the 4 best in the semis etc, this could make that more likely, especially in instance like last season where PSG were obviously a better team than Arsenal later on in the season despite them finishing 15th earlier on.

If there is insurance the value would be pre-agreed as part of the policy.

soz @Case You can't choose your family and all that. On the plus side, I don't have any brothers so that's nice

That's mad. Every untimely death can be traced back to a series of innocuous circumstances, but that's especially tragic. RIP Diogo.

Man…

You don't stop. You improve the weakest points in the team/squad each season with players that become available to sign as they inevitably do. Have you never played championship manager?

Nunez

Also Bastoni is predominantly left sided.

Well this is the problem isn't it. TBF, he'd be looking for at £200k a week at least if he was to sign for PSG or Madrid on a free.
