All my mum's side of the family are blues. My aunty (her sister) has five kids..all of which were bluenoses (one a mad..mad.. evertonian who has subsequently passed away) my younger cousin, Stephen, came away on holiday with us to Butlin's Skegness and over the course of the next two weeks we turned him into a red. When we sent him back home it caused murder in his family. He stuck to his guns though and still supports Liverpool. He married a bluenose, too, and has three kids, the race to get a red or blue shirt on the new born's back is hilarious.

I'm getting really fed up with these insipid performances.... so dis-jointed, haphazard and weak. Then when we are under the cosh we start to pick up. I could go on about players below par and the team not playing for each other, but to be honest it wouldn't help. I just feel there's an inevitability about the way we play at the moment..... grrrr !!!

Had to laugh on Sunday. Riise cuts in from the by line and is attacking the penalty area then has a shot with his right foot that skews off towards the corner flag, so I shouted at the telly "Bllody 'ell, Riise, get a right foot will ya" My seven year old daughter says "He's already got one, dad". "I know he has, but he doesn't use it properly".... "he does, it helps him stand up or he'd fall over and look he's running".....

We're improving dramatically and Torres looks like he'll make a massive difference. Here's my prediction, if we mirror the Anfield results against the other three contenders when we play them away and Torres stays fit, we'll finish in the top 2. This sort of thing really annoys me. More people comment, the more momentum an issue gets, divisiveness, second guessing. I'm glad the majority of players have chosen to keep schtum. Let all those no nothing, no-marks who watch soocer am and sing who are ya , chirrup away !!! All I know is I heard a bloke who feels passionately for his team speak out when he felt he was being held back and I saw a team of players celebrate like crazy when we won in midweek. As well as this I saw loads of fans rally around the manager and players. No other comments needed in my opinion !!

Maybe he thought he'd scored and won the cup in lieu of justice for the fans that died. In my opinion it was such an extra-ordinary night and death, injustice, shock, however you label affects people differently. Why should he have to explain?
