If we went behind last season the team was confident it could turn the game around. This season we go behind, game over. The self belief has gone, the captain and other experienced players aren't driving the team forward on the pitch. Off the pitch is down to the manager. Everyone needs to take responsibility.

Our midfield wouldn't be able to threaten a spotty 8 year old outside Anfield.

at the beginning of the second half Steve appeared to be playing on the left hand side of the centre of midfield, with no one on the right. Tactical or just in-discipline?

They were singing 3 songs for him tonight: Come on within etc. Rafa's got his Dirk Kuyt, Rafa's got his Dirk Kuyt and one which I think went: Dirk Kuyt wherever he may be he hit every branch on the ugly tree Like Fowler, Crouch and Craig Bellamy Dirk is class but he is f'kin ugly. To the tune of "you've got no history". Harsh but fair.

1. Paisley 2. Clough 3. Stein 4. Ferguson Can't argue with that. He's got a good record and 20 years at one club is terrific, but he's not the best. Also love it that he's so bitter about us, 5 times really racks him off.

He seems to be on a major PR offensive to bring back the fans to Villa Park. Good luck to him, it's good to see a club giving something back to the fans instead of just ripping them off.

It was "where were you in Germany?". The villa fans were also singing "We are unbeatable" til they were losing and responded to chants from Liverpool of "you're not unbeatable" with "you're unemployable", which was reasonably quick witted of them I suppose.
