Fact is that we still need a goal scorer in the team. Kuyt has done well so far, but I don't think Crouch and Bellamy are the answer. They both have good work rates but we need someone to stick the ball in the net. With Crouch in the side the temptation to lob high balls into the box appears to be too strong from some to resist. Heading the ball is not, and never will be, a major strength for him. Cisse will always score goals, but Rafa doesn't want him, so it's an academic argument.

If the writer needs to compare Gerrard's captaincy skills to a Utd captain, he should use Bryan Robson who also lead by example. I don't think Steve is like Keane but I can see similarities with Robson.

I know we boo them if they don't clap back, I'm talking about the d1ckheads who start booing them when everyone else is applauding before the keeper has had a chance to return the applause. I always thought this is one of the things that stood us apart from other fans.

Don't see the point in bringing National flags to the game myself, but what pisses me off more are the tossers on the Kop who think being a Liverpool fan means booing the opposition keeper as he runs to the kop for the start of the second half. We have our own small time and classless fans as well as the bluesh**e.

Price of tickets is getting a bit silly everywhere. There's been a number of games on the TV recently, where the grounds look half empty. With the new bumper tv deals coming through next season, it might be time for some clubs to look at ticket prices. If there's no atmosphere in the grounds/empty seats all over the place it will be a less appealing product for tv I would have thought. Small piece in the Mirror today about a woman who bought her husband a season ticket for Utd for his 40th. She bought it in September for £550, but as his birthday wasn't until Jan, she thought it best to save it til now as a surprise for him. As a result he has missed 11 home games and some cup games.
