His dad is an old mate of mine as is his Uncle Dave, who played at Everton for a while. Alvin is from Bootle and played for WHU for20 years playing well over 600 games. Alvin's mum Mum and Dad live in Lydiate, so he will have family on Merseyside at least. He has played at all levels from England and has valuable league expereince at MK. He is a very good young keeper.

They need to fecking sack Shepherd while they are at it. Here is a club that gets 50,000 fans every game and yet continues to be more interested in Alan Shearer breaking goal scoring records than anything else. They have had a joke of a defence in years, saved only by Shay Given's miraculous perfromances. Yet they continuouisly throw silly money on poorer defenders, attackers who can't score and midfielders who can't defend. How long will they allow the clown to run the Circus.

We will give them a lesson in Class. May as well take the whole 12 points on offer this holiday period.

The Lord of Frodsham isn't going anywhere. He will start scoring goals and Rafa will give him more opportunities. He just has to realize he was bought by the previous coach and that Rafa's style of play is different. The commentator the other night said we could still play something like 38 more games this season, so he will get plenty of chances. Rafa will remeber last season when all our forwards were injured and won't let anyone go, unless he has a certain replacement.

Let's hope Rafa doesn't do a Pelle with him and play him more than we expected.

It seems to me from listening to some talks shows and reading some recent match reviews that the media is finally starting to see us as a force in British football again. Even our CL win left them doubting us but this recent run has had many hailing us as the onl;y real challenger to Chelsea in the years to come. Even on Talks**** today they seem to think Rafa has done more as a manager in English football to date. Most of the call-ins seem to support the belief that Rafa has done more with the resources he had.

I was reading the other day that in his last two seasons at Porto Queenie never lost a league game. Considering he won the UEFA Cup the CL and practically every Cup in Portugal he has had a phenomenal 4 seasons.

In the first few minutes Stevie made a great effort to let Neville know he was there. He also seemed to give him an extra little prod as he got up too. The Gormless looking fecker didn't know what hit him. Well in Stevie Lad.

He's a better more mature version than the 20 year old Leeds player. He tracks back, he doesn't waste passes, including those back to his defenders. He is a very sensible player on the ball and doesn't need to play as an out and out winger. A little more pace and a few goals and everyone will be raving about Harry again.

I don't see any reason why we should sell any of our players. Cisse has said he is going nowhere and Rafa wants him, so why would he leave? We now have 4 strikers in Moro, Crouchy, Djibs and Flo-Po who are all healthy, CL eligible and as Rafa said give us many options. As long as they all know their worth to the club and the fact they won't play in every game, they will do nicely. To bring someone in now and disrupt this group wouldn't be wise. I think we should go with what we have got and if we need to bring another striker in do it in the summer.

I would rest him against WBA and have him practice on his deflections. He has to go a long way to match the severity of deflection Lampard gets. Only practice can help that.

Personally I have erased the last two summers of Gerrard's Indecision from my brain. To me he is our swashbuckling, marauding Captain, who at the moment I wouldn't swap for anybody in football. The fans love him, he loves the club and the players respect him. What more could you ask for.

When Rafa came in he has his own targets of Alonso and Garcia. He obviously had to be creative in funding them as cash wasn't available. Given that he had a player in MO sitting on a new contract and with a possible Bosman on the horizon. Rafa didn't allow Owen to stall any longer and helped move him on. At the time the 8 million came in handy to help secure Alonso and Garcia. In hindsight we picked up a superb midfield general and a player who has scored some very vital goals. Both whom are commited to Rafa's cause 100% and players he obviously likes and trusts. Owen on the other hand could not give him that same comitment. In the end I think Liverpool FC have come out on top and Big Ears in the trophy cabinet was a nice bonus.

A Goal for Harry will do his confidence the World of good. He hasn't scored in over a year.

He was great for us Even the disallowed Beattie goal was a very tough call.

His running and tackling is spot on. His distribution and final effort is poor. I can't see him scoring many goals.
