There patches are pretty lengthy. I don't think between them they have 10 league goals this season. That is reason to be worried. With the exception of Crouchy in December none of them hgas any consistent run of goals.

The ball should have been played upfield by Kewell earlier. Instead he sliced it right across the pitch to a Brum player and gave them the opportunity to cross to Heskey. There was absolutely no need for it to be in our half.

When you see lesser partnerships like Harwood/Zamora Cole/Vassell scoring regularly it is sad to think we have 27 million worth of strikers in Cisse, Morientes and Crouch who are really struggling to get goals. Between them have they scored 10 league goals this season? The three of them look like they could run around for 180 minutes and not score. Is it the players, the system or the support? whatever it is is worrying to me.

I watched several after match interviews and many sicken me how they see a certain game. They can't give credit were it is due and always seem like their team deserved everything. Ferguson slated BRFC style of play and how they disrupt games, Allardyce was robbed, Mourinho was livid with Rob Styles, Wenger thought they should have won easily. Very few of the feckers can have the grace to say yes we were crap and deserved to lose congratulations to ___________ . Players get sent off for comments they make on the pitch and it is time managers are punished for their poor sportsmanship off the field.

Wouldn't surprise me to see them go after another Blackburn Manager in Mark Hughes. He has done a fine job at BRFC and would tighten their defence and get them scrapping for points. That club has become the Alan Shearer Show anyway. The only thing they give a feck about is him breakinbg Milburn's record. Which in the big picture means absolutely nothing. They will put Glen Roeder in as a Yes man for Shearer. They deserve everything they get. I guess Terry Mac will be back to giving interviews about Liverpool now on SSN.

I know I will probably get crucified but to me it looks like we are starting to play the way we did earlier this season and in a lot of games last season. We have lot's of possession but can't finish teams off. There seems like so many occasssions were we have 65% or more of the play but can't either finish a team off or stop them from getting back into the game. During our great run I had every confidence in us coming up with a goal and then getting the job done. In the last five games I haven't had that feeling. Even on Sunday with a 2-0 lead I never felt comfortbale and it seemsed like only a metter of time before they pulled one back. This game was very similar. Let's hope we can get back on track on Sunday and start to play with the confidence and resiliance we had during our recent run of victories.

Wenger is going to have to face the fact that some of his senior players are going through the motions. They have some quality youngsters and now would be the time to blood them. IMO Henry, Campbell, Cole and Pires and a couple of others will be on their way so why not play the young lads.

FFS doesn't he have anyone who can replac Boumong and Bramble. He continues to play them and they continue to have nightmares. I would rather play a 17 year old reserve player than either of those clowns.

Since his purple patch in late Nov early Dec when he finally startd scoring he has been very ineffective. It's almost like he has stopped putting in the effort that endured us to him during his goal drought. I have no doubt he will come good but maybe Rafa used him a bit too much and he has become a little complacent. Some extra competition from Fowler will do him good. I didn't care for his "Not me again" look when Fowler came on. Rafa will bring him back down to earth.

He waxed poetically about the virtues of Alan Curbishly and playing for an English Manager. He goes on a purple patch and fills his head full of ideas of being an England player again. Only to come back to the reality that he really isn't That good and gets dropped by Curbs. Immediately he gets the hump and moves on. I'll give him two years and he will do a Nick Barmby and end up back at Crewe.

I can't understand how that Fecker McClaren gets away with things. His club are in a free fall and yet he always has that cheesey grin on his face. It's like he is made out of teflon. Even when they lost 7-0 the fecker still didn't seem to be bothered.

He certainly has much more confidence in front of the camera and his scouse accent no where near as strong as it was. I couldn't stop laughing at how many times he said "obviously". I lost count after 50.

Refreshing to hear Fowler's press conference and the only thing he talked about was his desire to play for Liverpool. No talk of ressurecting his England career or being in the shop window for SGE. Robbie will come good and IMO he will be the only ex striker to get a contract in the summer.

Through in the fact that they haven't won anything in years and are miles behind Barca and now you have a challenge for a player. Pity for them it won't be "Scouse Xabi" He will more than realize he is part of something big at Anfield and won't be going anywhere.

Aaron Lennon is an exciting young player. I think he and FSP were overhyped when Ged signed them. We were all under the impression they were going to be stars. Unfortunately they are mpretty average. FSP at least has some speed about him.
