ah cool, didn't realise the premiership numbers had to be standard all shirts for all clubs. Gives me a reason to spend another £50 on the Euro kit now

hmm I will be a bit f***ed off if they are putting the old style on the shirts bought earlier only in order to get rid of the old numbers/letters they still have kicking around. Makes the shirt out of date straight away!

the one I ordered from LFC came with the Premiership numbers, not the sticker ones, but the felt ones. I presume the ones from last night are European only lettering and numbering....

sounds fair enough mate. I was amazed at the queue when I got to the ground at 7:20pm. I thought it was the queue for the shop at first. I already had my tickets in hand so I was okay, but felt for the guys at the back of the queue. Once the match started the ground looked pretty full to me, didn't see many coming in after ten minutes into it. Were people who were picking up tickets generally all in the same block somewhere? One guy sat down in front of me 10 minutes efore the end of first half, but that was all I saw.

a manc mate of mine was kind enough to give his opinion on our shirt, he said at least its red now and not pink, and that the collar makes it look like a rugby shirt. He wasn't having any of it when I slagged off the manc one with the s**** looking badge and crap sponsor... Adidas really have shown their quality over what I was used to paying the same price for for the much inferior Reebok one. The embroidered badge looks great.

Got my shirt delivered this morning. The shirt is really nice. Good quality and love the pin striping on it, very subtle but really adds to the quality. One thing that pissed me off was that the mug I got free with the shirt got delivered all smashed up in the box.. Even though it was 'Special Delivery'

was watching the last bit of play before final whistle where Gonzalez was down near the corner flag, Rafa was going absolutely mental. I presume its cos we never swung the ball in, we were just winding the clock down. Was that the case do you think? or something else?

they had fans in the Kop end of the Main Stand.. just after they scored there was a bit of comotion going on, I looked up and could here our fans singing 'take them down. take them down' and the stewards intervened.

got back from the game a short while ago.. thought the new boys were class. Pennant worked very hard and put some great balls in. He doesn't seem to be very quick though, which is not a major problem as he has the skill on the ball. But we seem to miss someone who is quick down the wingers, though Gonzalez will do a good job of that I think. Was great to see Bellamy score, he frustrated me beforehand though as he kept doing dummy's which weren't going through. Also got frustrated with the amount of times he ended up on the wings rather than in the box. But its early days I guess. Zenden looked poor. Hes just got back from injury though, so again, early days. Sissoko was my man of the match. Quality game he had. Worked hard all over and saw him pretty close up as I was in the Paddock and he charged one of their players down and he looked f***ing scary when closing him down. One of my fave players.

I think a lot of people couldn't be bothered with the match when they found out it doesn't count for loyalty for the other matches in the CL if we progress..

Rafa has tracked him for two summers now, Feyenoord aren't going to shift the price lower just for us, when other teams are also after him too. They are in the driving seat unfortunately. Rafa will have to either bite the bullet or move on and go for another striker. If hes worth chasing for two summers then I assume Rafa sees him as vital, whether thats 12 million vital I aint too sure.

agree.. if the money were there we would have got him by now, especially as the longer we leave it the more likely a bidding war will happen.
