But if we do make a bid, when will we do it? Rafa has said that he won't be making any moves this week for any player, but would this trigger him to make a move? Just wondering if Real might want to be bringing in any players they will want to sell before the end of the week to guarantee the funds. Unless they are flush I just can't see Rafa making a move, especially when we have clubs turning down our bids for wingers and defenders

Real owe us 4 million from the Owen deal anyway.... that is one advantage we still have. But 18 million fgrom Newcastle Real wouldn't give a s*** about a measly 4 million to us. They make a 10 million profit on a player that is FIFTH choice !!
