I think that's part of the appeal for Fergie, even if Tevez and Rooney are similar players he's still signing another great player and spiking Liverpool's cannons at the same time - he knows that if we get Tevez then we are serious contenders for the Premiership next season. That's what worries me about Tevez delaying his decision until mid July, as that gives Man U time to raise money by selling, Smith, Rossi, Richardson etc, so it ties in with that if Tevez want's to go there. Hopefully though our naffness in the transfer market over the last ten years has made me unnecessarily pessimistic about our ability to compete, and our new owners are going to treat us by buying Tevez and Torres!
