Kewell is gone, We'd have probably let Gerrard go for the amount of money offered, Hamman might have gone as well, No Crouch, he didn't do the business at Villa, and we never brought Fowler back. I'm sure there's others, so feel free to add in your own.

I think his performance was summed up by the moment he resolutely refused to get out of the way of Alonso when he was trying to beat a man and reach the box. The prick just stood there with his hands clamped behind his back, disrupting the play and made both players go around him.

To be honest I think you've hit the issue there. Pretty much every game he does get taken off on the hour mark, as Rafa looks to switch it around slightly. He was probably a bit disappointed to be taken off tonight just after we'd taken the lead. He's a big lad (no pun intended) so I'm sure he'll get over it. It's all part of Rafa's master plan. Plus Morientes and Fowler to me seems nicely reminiscent of Morientes and Raul, and I think the pair of them could be very effective.

Depends what you mean by 20 goals a season. I'd be happy for any of our strikers to score 10 and set up another 10 goals.
