Very good finisher. Great movement off the ball. Offers very little for his team other than the above though which is why he's second choice for the Icelandic national team even though his stats are better then that of Sigþórsson who plays for Ajax. If we are going after Icelandic strikers we should sign the latter. And Alfred has already signed for Real Sociedad.

But this isn't worse than a Costa headbutt, a Rooney elbow or any other trademark assault made regularly by other players. Ban him from international games for a good while, give him more therapy and keep him scoring and creating goals for LFC. Simple as that.

Financial doping. No better than any other kind of doping except the dinosaurs in charge of the game didn't want to do anything about it. But congrats to the City players and manager. They performed well over the season and didn't act like complete c*nts like the other club who's been doing the same financial doping only for a longer time. Now if only there could be a (radical) change to how the game is run and governed - that'd be good. Anyway - we go again next season.

So after extensive youtube and whoscored.com stats scouting (30min or so) I’ve come to the conclusion that these should be our targets. First criterion was to find one experienced backup keeper, one fullback (doesn’t matter which side), a player who can solve multiple roles in central midfield and one for the attacking third. Second criterion was to resist the urge to go for the Big Namez™ players. Third criterion was to try to fit them into the FSG/BR philosophy of being young but of (hopefully) good enough quality. Fourth criterion was to target players from the teams just below us in the league (not the financially doped ones though). Goalie: Stekelenburg/[other experienced keeper] Fullback: Coleman/Ricardo Rodriguez/ CM: Barkley/Schneiderlin/Rakitic/Pjanic Attacking third: Walcott/Jay Rodriguez/Firmino/Kruse All doable [in this fantasy world]. Hopefully most would improve our starting XI or the 14 who’ll play most. Ignore or mock - your choice.

One shouldn’t disclose too much personal information on the internet someone said - but f*ck it! I’ve suffered from severe anxiety since 2011. It meant I couldn’t go find a job when my old workplace was relocated out of the country. So I decided to go back to school to finish another B.Sc. That isn’t going to well at the moment because of before mentioned anxiety - especially considering the fact that the finals are now. My daughters birthday is the 11th of May. Or as I know it - last day of the season. My anxiety is so bad that I get panic attacks today when I think about how I’ll be on my daughters birthday. My wife hates football and is irritated with me because all of a sudden I’m watching way more football than before (that is - more than just our games). The upside? A good supply of alprazolam.
