I want either an attacking 4123 Mignolet Johnson - Skrtel - Lovren - Moreno Stevie G Hendo - Coutinho/Can Markovic/Coutinho - Sturridge - Raheem (Can’t decide on Coutinho or Can). They have such Beasts™ in central midfield that a combo of Hendo+Can might be better than putting Coutinho there. If so putting Coutinho in the front three instead of Markovic might be the way to go. Or go for a more conservative 3412 Mignolet Skrtel - Lovren - Sakho Johnson - Stevie - Hendo - Moreno Coutinho Sturridge - Raheem Pellegrini plays a 442 (or a 4222) most of the time so I think it’ll be wise to have three centre backs to deal with them with Stevie ready to drop into defence to help out when needed. * or an old school Ajax 3313 just for the fun of it. Mig; Skrtel, Lovren, Sakho; Stevie, Hendo, Can; Cout; Sterling, Sturridge, Markovic ** F*ck yeah! Formations!

Alfreð Finnbogason just signed for Real Sociedad so won't be going anywhere soon. He's also "just" a goalscorer. He has pace and is an excellent finisher but there isn't much more to his game. I've said it before but I'll repeat it - if we are planning on going for Icelandic strikers we should be going for Sigþórsson who's at Ajax (but might be signing for QPR this summer). He's the best Icelandic striker and the one that would fit out team the best.

Isn't their net spend then about 53m this summer? And how do they intent to balance the books to not be in violation of their agreed upon sanctions regarding FFP?

Funnily enough I didn't have any doubts about him (that I can remember ). After his introduction into the first team I expected what could become a rather drastic drop in form somewhere around his second season. Based on pretty much nothing I've had this theory that when young players with immense potential start playing first team football they are able to play their first season at a very good level but then after a while (might be the end of their first season, might be the end of the second season) their form will drop because of many factors. They might think they'd made it, they aren't playing as much based on "adrenaline" and are under more pressure to perform as seasoned professionals and the list goes on. They then kick on again later after either a summer off or having been dropped as a result of their drop in form. Now this theory is based on nothing so shouldn't be taken too seriously.
