the problem is that's been said every year for the past few years. even in this season, i truly belive that our fully fit starting 11 (and squad) is better than united's. the key difference is that for some reason our team does not show up EVERY saturday / sunday. our lack of form early in the last few seasons has been the foundation of our lack of success in the league. we need consistency more than new star players.

i see garcia more as a super-sub. who can make an impact in the later stages of the game. I think he is too hot / cold for rafa's liking (and probably for his teammates too) to start too many games this season, but rafa is smart enough to see his value in changing a game towards the end.
