    Hooper was exceptionally bad. Succession of wrong calls, almost exclusively in their favour. I cannot understand the lack of second yellow for Burn

    Apparently since Spurs game he has most goal involvements in the league, so he's at that level now and will get better

    Not sure that's true about Alonso. He had one exceptional season in Germany and a good half season the year before. Slot had 2 or 3 in Holland, including the abandoned covid season

    Alonso apparently wanted to join Madrid after the CWC, not before

    He did nothing at Barca to suggest he is the answer to our issues

    At this point I just want to start looking forward to matches again, performances and results have been dreadful. For all those wanting Alonso, doesn't he play the same sort of possession based safety first football as Slot?
