Played there a little under Klopp, killed his confidence
-
Joe would be a better right back, if he was ever fit for more than 10mins
-
He isn't. But he (and Chiesa) aren't worth the non HG spots in the squad
-
And damaged the value of all the squad players. We are looking around saying we have very few sellable assets - its cos Slot never gave the kids a chance and therefore showed they have no value to us
-
If only someone on the forum knew the rules!?!
-
He's a scrapper, which we've needed. Like a fast Diogo
-
We don't know if Gakpo is ready to do 90 though
-
We would have lost both games last season, so there is that at least. And he isn't ruining all structure with his subs when chasing the game, so thats two things. Still needs to solve conceding stupid goals
-
No balance, no depth, no physicality, no one that tackles, no one that runs, no mental strength Hughes and Edwards have done years of damage
-
That never gets given. Ever. But does against us And there first goal from someone that hasn't scored in a year - same as last week
-
Keep gakpo to do the Jacob Murphy role
-
If he is leaving is to avoid being a squad player, why go to the same situation at city. At least with Spurs he starts Time for a Diaz/Munoz style swoop?
-
Either genius, or extremely lucky, that prices have exploded this summer meaning they are making healthy profits on their cast offs
-
That was on behalf of Edwards. So that anything that happened after he left couldn't be pinned on him
-
I think Gomez is the additional full back cover. Araujo frees him up to do that when needed. Can't see any flaws with that plan
-
I wouldn't write him off based on one game, against probably the best left back in the division. I would start Munoz next game though
-
He was knitting play together quite well at times, but having to come far too deep to do it. Needed to be 30yds further forward. Doesn't help that there is no-one capable of passing it to him - midfield and full backs full of runners, not passers
-
Anthony Elanga netted his first goal in 40 Premier League games while Joe Willock score for the first time in 61. Says it all really
-
Buy all the players we can
-
Needs to start, assuming he is fit enough
-
Or aimed at their players who were delaying the kick for a ridiculous length of time
-
Seems like a lovely person, but my God he is not a footballer. Brutal on the ball
-
There are a lot of new players that we are still getting to know, but i do know what you mean. Was always likely to be like this after the break up of our greatest ever team and Jurgen leaving
-
He is struggling, but Hall is one of the best in the league. Used to defend Salah well
-
Would be a good record for Andoni to break first up
