  1. Italy to go out in the group stages, Spain to get to the semis at least, Brazil NOT to win the whole thing, Ivory Coast or Ghana to get to the quarters.
  2. Yep, he will probably get 20 goals for them next season if he gets in their starting line-up (how the hell that is gonna happen I don't know considering they have Villa and Aimar). Too slow for the Premiership, but that doesn't matter as much in Spain.
  3. Yep, he's going to Helsingborg. The tickets for his first game sold out in less than 2 hours. Quality player, one of the best Swedish players ever in fact. He was great last night as well.

He was great in the first half, but he faded in the second. Would still prefer Alves, Pennant, SWP or Joaquin, but if he's very, very cheap he could be an option. Don't think he'd fit in the Premiership, he's way too weak.

  7. Don't know anything about Boruc or Fabianski, but Kuszczak is class. A shame for Jerzy, but I don't think he would have played much had he been included.
  8. PORTUGAL Goalkeepers: Ricardo, Quim, Bruno Vale Defenders: Fernando Meira, Miguel, Caneira, Nuno Valente, Paulo Ferreira, Ricardo Carvalho, Ricardo Costa Midfielders: Deco, Petit, Costinha, Hugo Viana, Maniche, Tiago, Figo, Cristiano Ronaldo, Boa Morte, Simão Sabrosa Fowards: Helder Postiga, Nuno Gomes, Pauleta That's one hell of a midfield. They'll miss Andrade at the back though.
  9. ARGENTINA Goalkeepers: Roberto Abbondanzieri (Boca Juniors, Argentina), Leonardo Franco (Atlético de Madrid, España), Oscar Ustari (Independiente, Argentina). Defenders: Fabricio Coloccini (Deportivo La Coruña, España), Roberto Ayala (Valencia, España), Gabriel Heinze (Manchester United, Inglaterra), Juan Pablo Sorin (Villarreal, España), Lionel Scaloni (West Ham United (Inglaterra), Gabriel Milito (Zaragoza, España), Nicolás Burdisso (Inter, Italia), Leandro Cufré (Roma, Italia) Midfield: Esteban Cambiasso (Inter, Italia), Javier Mascherano (Corinthians, Brasil), Luis González (Porto, Portugal), Martín Demichelis (Bayern Munich, Alemania), Pablo Aimar (Valencia, España), Juan Román Riquelme (Villarreal, España), Maximiliano Rodríguez (Atlético de Madrid, España) Strikers: Carlos Tevez (Corinthians, Brasil), Hernán Crespo (Chelsea, Inglaterra), Lionel Messi (Barcelona, España), Rodrigo Palacio (Boca Juniors, Argentina), Javier Saviola (Sevilla, España) No Zanetti, no Samuel, no Aguero, no Cruz. But players like Cufre, Burdisso, Scaloni and Palacio is in. Weird.
  10. Ah, that might explain it. Shame though. One of the few german players that are actually enjoying to watch!
  11. No Deisler either. Strange, always seen him as a top player.
  12. Weird squad, 6 central midfielders (none of them is really a support striker) and only 3 wingers. Don't understand how he's thinking at all.
  13. Last night i would have said stay.. now i say go. And take Nando with you.

Hahahaha. Funniest ratings I've seen in a long time.
  15. Feckin boss!
  16. Come on you reds!
  17. Cissé deserves to play. He's in better form than Morientes atm, and he also gives the team more possibilities(!). With Nando and Crouch up front we are pretty much stuck with a 4-4-2 unless we bring on a sub. With Djibs on the pitch we can easily switch between 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1 and also 4-3-3, without making any substitutions.
  18. He was at AIK, their rivalry club. He was so bad that he became something of a laughing-stock here in Sweden.
  19. Wow, that must be the most boring midfield ever. No playmaker and no one to run at players. And if we really had to rest that many players, why not give someone like Anderson the chance? Strange to me. I expect a dull game, 1-1 draw.
  20. Don't really care, but West Ham play decent football so maybe I'd prefer them.
  21. He's scored again! Sociedad are 2-0 up against Villarreal, and he scored the second goal. Xabi's brother scored the first one.

  23. Agree about Alonso. Absolutely fantastic today. They tried to get him out of balance but he didn't care. Passing, workrate, tackling, passion.. he was the master of everything. Kewell and Garcia were very good in the second half too.
  24. As wasteful as Garcia is with the ball, the fact is that he is the only player in our squad (maybe with the exception of Fowler) who really knows how to find space in and around the box. It is no accident that he is the one that gets the chances, it's due to the fact that he's better at finding space in the area than all our strikers put together (again, maybe with the exception of Fowler). For this reason, he must play. We will have to accept the fact that he is messy, for the time being.
  25. Can't say that i saw it as a slip when it happened. At the time I thought he was lucky not to get a straight red. Now when everyone says he slipped over I have to watch it again.
