The Coventry and Spurs ones are alright, even though they're far from pretty. The other two are terrible shirts, but it's not really because of the colours. I'm sorry but I just find the grey/silver colour appalling, especially when combined with red on a shirt. Why couldn't they just stick to either the white or the black kit from last year? Both of them were great.

Liked the look of him yesterday, he looked more mature and "ready" than I thought he'd be. If he keeps it up he will get a few games this season for sure.

Finally some sense in this thread. Momos destructive game is fantastic, but he seriously limits our attacking play. In at least 30 of 38 league games he would do more harm than good to be fair.

Agree with you both 100%. The first feeling was emptiness, followed by a pride that can't be taken away from me. There's absolutely no reason to be bitter or angry.

It's a tough one between Crouch and Kuyt. I think it could be either one tbh, but Kuyt would be my bet. And yes, we can't make the same mistake again so Mascherano must sit deep and take out Kaká. If we stop him we stop about 75% of their attacking capabilities. -

I suspect that Rafa will go with 5 in midfield, with Mascherano dropping deep to take Kaká out of the game. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see something like ------------- Reina Finnan - Carra - Agger - Riise ---------- Mascherano Pennant - Xabi - Gerrard - Kewell ---------- Crouch/Kuyt -
I seriously doubt that Riise could pull it off. He's got no right leg to swing his left around!

Disagree. Bellamy uses his pace better, is technically superior, a better finisher and is much, much more of a team player than Djibs. But I also think we need someone better, like Henry.
