  1. There's few things more nauseating than that pretentious set piece coach gesticulating as if he's controlling every free kick and corner. If he was properly coaching them they'd know what to do for themselves. What an idiot
  2. Andrew to his friends
  3. Our midfield was great yesterday. They are an easy team to bully. In fact, for what we needed they were the perfect team to play against. They've little strength, pace or snide. We had a glorious day in the sunshine playing amazing football.. we still need to add to the core of that midfield. But to reiterate - our midfield was great yesterday
  4. Anyone got a link to slot doing the fist pumps?
  5. The club seems to do a good job in supporting the diversity of its players, some christian, some muslim, some maybe of other traditions, some probably overtly of no religion. Club was getting a lot of praise for how it accommodated a prayer space for sadio for instance. Some players cross themselves, others kiss the turf, some fast during particular seasons, others just enjoy the water break that comes from a reasonable accommodation of the practice. All of the traditions represented on the pitch have associations with good and bad representatives of that tribe, religious and non-religious alike. The players on the pitch ain't responsible for the distortions of their tribe. One of the positive representations of the club is to see how those who are obviously overtly Christian and Muslim and of no religion respect and value one another as teammates and just mates. And they all won the league together Well in lads. Well in Cody. Well in Mo.
  6. Ah... Sky just showed it.. Got the crowd singing for klopp
  7. This is just brilliant Simply brilliant
  8. Looking forward to the James Pearce 150000 wow piece on how the league was won in South America
  9. Guaranteed to STILL be ahead of Everchester United after all have played 34 games
  10. Asked chatgpt for a 50 word max summary Liverpool’s Dutch trio—Virgil van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch, and Cody Gakpo—are thriving under manager Arne Slot. Van Dijk has evolved into a deep-lying playmaker, enhancing Liverpool’s build-up play. Gravenberch has excelled in a new defensive midfield role, while Gakpo's return to the left wing has revitalized his form. Seems fair enough
  11. All in all... Quite the career that no one would have seen coming when he joined them. Won both the PL and the FA Cup and played in the Champions league quarter finals, all for Leicester.. Pretty mad that!
  12. anyways - that'll do!
  13. I know - but weirdly tantalising!
  14. what do we want here.. I didn't want to win it tonight.. but now it's possible it's kinda exciting!
  15. Throw the league #thismeansmore
  16. This is the one that really grates me as it's clear players are feigning head injuries to get a competitive advantage. In that incident you can clearly see the player looking to see what was happening and then lying down to get the play stopped.
  17. Yup.. That's the one..
  18. 100%...start of the season they had him, and a few others, much more lean than in recent years when the tendency under Jurgen was to bulk up. Seems daft to say it compared to most human beings but actually didn't think he looked in great footballing shape, and the pic of him lifting the top off the flag on the beeb ain't the most flattering to the lad.. Probs a bit camera angles and all, but still
  19. Slot obviously swerved the direct answer on the trent contract, but the question led with by saying it's always felt that it was on a different path to Virgil and Mo and Slot nodded instinctively in agreement
  20. Unfortunately there was no translation but I think it was something like Para ser honesto, Jude y yo creemos que ahora no es el momento ni el lugar para hacer ningún comentario. Guess there's always hope eh..
  21. Definitely think we'll be prioritising pace
