    Billy, in order to call offside (correct or incorrect) the linesman has to assume that The ball comes off Mane. If he thought the defender hit the ball last there would be no offside (incorrect or otherwise). VAR proved There was no offside but that the ball struck Manes hand or at least appeared to, therefore no goal.
