I thought the club had been forced into a situation where they had no choice and their appeals and correspondance had fallen on deaf ears. The points raised in that letter suggest that the board of LFC are the main obstacle to getting the fixture rearranged. What kind of f***ing madness is that ? If the money angle is what they are looking at then they haven't thought through the potential impact of losing the respect of some supporters. I'll be less inclined to put my hand in my pocket in future if they go ahead with the game on that date. Am I alone in thinking like that ?

I disagree. When we are all dead and gone, he'll be remembered as the man who brought in Rafa who won us number 5. If nothing else he's been a success. If we were in the property development business or football clubs were judged on their finances then his ability to rush through the development of a new stadium might earn him a gold star.

Neither excelling nor failing IMO. Its difficult to think of anyone doing radically better and it would be a gamble to embark on looking for someone of a high enough calibre who has the necessary love of this club. We're closer to Chelsea this season, have improved the squad with Zenden, Reina, Sissoko and a whole batch of classy looking youngsters so its difficult t make a case against his handling of transfer policy. That he handled Gerrard's flirtation with Chelsea badly is only videnced by hearsay and isn't supported well by the fat that Gerrard is now committed to us for the long term. We were stiffed over Simao and it took a little longer to et Agger but overall its been good solid progress. Stadium and invesment situation is damn frustrating though, would help PR if there was more communication on that.

I haven't been the reserves for a couple of months so i'm not that well qualified to comment. AdamS ? I'd say Jack Hobbs is consistent, has the stamina that a replacement for Momo would need, is a strong tackler and has the physical presence, he could also cover for centre half. He's only been at the club a short time though. Maybe we'll see Anderson come onto the right wing to release gerrard to play in centre mid again. In all honesty though, I think its too early for them to go into Premier League games. Who knows though, it might be a case of having to.

Shows what a blinder Rafa played by getting Momo and Zenden in. He's transformed the squad in key areas in a short space of time. There are lads in the reserves that are doing really well at that level but its a hell of a step up. One of those young midfielders may get a place on the bench soon though.

I feel so ashamed. Absolutely gutted about this. Its a shame there is no balance though. The events around Old Trafford every year that go unreported, would offer absolutely no justification, but would show that its not just Liverpool fans who have their idiot fringe.

Good, needs a rest IMO. We proved last season that we can win these big games without him.
